I tried to buy, following the "Get It Now" button in the email from Stardock about my Fences 5 trial expiring. I enter the data for my credit card and hit the button to buy, and get "We regret that your order could not be accepted. We value your business and would like to help you complete this order. Please contact us for assistance." I double-checked the data, and it's correct. What's the problem?
I have three Fences with some 50 files/folders in them and some 20 other files on my desktop. Will my desktop look the same after the upgrade, or does it zero much or all of it out?
I just got an email about an upgrade to Fences 4. If I do it, will my desktop have the same Fences and contents?
I had Fences 2 in my Windows 10 laptop, and had about 10 "undesirable" icons on the 2d desktop (Alt-arrow key to get there). When I upgraded, those 10 icons came back to the main desktop, and now I can't create the 2d desktop. I move an icon to the right edge, and about 3/4 of it disappears, but that's it. Any ideas what I can do?
I just bought 2.0 as an upgrade. Do I need to uninstall what I have first? I have some Fences on a second page. Should I move it the desktop first? And, when I go through the uninstall/install process, will I be starting from scratch -- i.e., a bunch of icons on my desktop, completely unorganized? How can I see what version of Fences is installed?
