You can already do this in Windows w/o Groupy using Windows Snap.
If it's not too much trouble, it would be nice if we could snap Windows using Groupy's title bar.
I don't really care for any of the Disney sequels except for Rogue One. I'll still see Solo, but I'm not hyped. I miss George Lucas. :(
> Adds new tab creation for Chrome, Firefox Ummm....Chrome and Firefox already have new tab creation.
I agree. I would love to have this.
@Anyone: I'm still running the original 1.00 and am wondering if I should install the beta. Is this beta stable enough to be used?
I should mention that it appears to be working now. I have NOT installed a new version, so I'm not sure why it wasn't working at first, but it appears to be working now.
Another difference is that Groupy will work across multiple versions of Windows (including Windows 7) whereas with Sets, you need to upgrade to a specific minimum version of Windows 10. This may not be a big deal for home users, but corporate users may not even be running Windows 10 or may be locked down to a specific version of Windows 10. It might take years before corporate users can use Sets.
Is it possible to add a 'x' button in the upper right which closes all applications within the current Groupy set? This button would close all applications when clicked.
I have Groupy set to automatically group for Visual Studio 2017 (devenv.exe) but it does not work. It does work for other apps such as File Explorer and Word, but not Visual Studio. Let me know if you need any other information.
Can I get a response from Stardock to this suggestion?
Can you please add an option to display the date next to time? Also, it would be super cool if you made the date a clickable button so that if the user clicks it, it launches your calendar app. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
I really love the Win7's Aero Glass effect which MS removed in Win8. I would love to see Start8 (or ModernMix) bring Aero Glass back.
RichardBeal: Thanks, I already have ModernMix, but didn't know it supported this feature. Thanks!
I'd love the ability to pin Metro apps to the task bar.
I'd like to request a simple feature. In Windows 7, when you right-click the Start Menu orb, you get a popup menu, and one of the options is Open Windows Explorer. Start8 doesn't have this option. Can you please consider adding it? Thanks.
