And when this period ends, I have to pay again to download a new version with bugfixes and support for new Windows updates if incompatibilities arise.

I like Object Desktop but I am not subscribing because I don't like timed software. If there was a better price to own all the software I would consider buying the package.
If there was a one time lifetime access for Object Desktop, I would have bought it.
From time to to ObJectDock autohide option gets disabled. Is there a trick to always keep it enabled?
If it's 'just' the loss of the min/max/close buttons it's a straight GUI application issue as Zubaz mentioned - applying the full theme correctly. It's not an Explorer crash, but a 'painting' issue. An Explorer crash is when the process 'explorer.exe' stops.... at which time the entire desktop GUI disappears... You've followed 'best practise' by modding your GUI di
Do this to reproduce this bug: Click and hold right mouse button on desktop, drag it a little and release it. Select "Create Folder Portal here". Choose a folder consisting of shortcuts. Now inside that portal try right clicking on a shortcut and choose "open file location". Nothing happens.
No I have Ati 7970.
Does nobody else have this problem?
WindowFX animations slow down over time. The only way to fix this is the move windows (I also have wobbly windows active) and then everything is suddenly smooth again.
Yes disabling enhanced graphics from LGS settings fixed it. :) Thanks.
Need to be just a little more specific, what OS, version of WB and the theme names this happens with. A screenshot might prove to be helpful also.
Like I said it happens with all of the themes that alter the lose, minimize and maximize icons that are at the top right of windows. There are no problems with Aero themes, cideral, recycled, wall. Using Windows 7 X64. WindowBlinds is 8
You could also go in using the Windowblinds Per Application settings and tell it to exclude that software from being skinned.
I tried it but it has no effect on Logitech Game Center. (a file named LCore.exe which is the 64bit version)
I think it only happens when the theme changes the close-minimize-maximize buttons. It also happens with most of the default themes that come with WindowBlinds.
Some of the themes cause the upper portion of Logitech Game Center become invisible.
When I try to apply a theme through Theme Manager, Windows Explorer crashes. Is this normal? I'm using Windows7 x64 Also the top bar of windows disappears and I can't open new windows... though I managed to apply a theme once. Now I'm back to original Aero theme and I can't seem to apply a new theme properly.
When you right click on shortcuts inside Fences and choose "Open File Location" nothing happens.
Normally the pointer is not effected by CPU usage. It is always smooth no matter what. The problem is that it is not as butter smooth meaning your eyes do not detect any irregularity in the movement when you are using a high quality mouse (in my case Logitech G700). With high quality mouses, the mouse moves as if you were using an Amiga computer. When CursorFX is running, your eyes detect irregularities in mouse movement. It no longer moves smooth as butter but
I just bought CursorFx. Can you do something to make the pointer move smoothly? When I activate CursorFX, it's as if I'm once again using a low quality USB mouse (or a PS2 or a Serial mouse) In its current form, I can see the cursor moving a bit sluggish as if it's not synchronized with my screen refresh rate. I guess it's got something to do with CursorFX using a software mouse but I don't see the same behavior in games that
Moving Uplay window makes everything in the window solid white with the latest beta 5.11 forcing you to restart it, if you have wobbly windows active.
I just redownloaded WindowFX. The version number is same but the file is 1kb larger. I reinstalled it and tried updateing Directx11. It seems like the problems are no longer here.
I guess WindowFx is no longer supported? Is it abandoned?
These problems might be related to latest Directx11 update which is also installed with Internet Explorer 10. It breaks many things about WindowFx. (like window contents become invisible when a window is moved near the top of the screen, windows empty during animations, some animations not playing leading to pauses before you see them, animated window moving not working properly, etc... I haven't yet got a reply to whether this problem is a
Or the refreshing and rearranging of icons could be kept on hold until the playing of animation is complete. That would effectively solve this problem.
Any news on a fix?
They said it's not possible to add maximize and restore down animations.
