Pat Caddell spoke recently on the bias in the media especially with the polls, http://youtu.be/brDZJA8j-8c. Everyone knows the polls have not been even but they continue to get run by MSM. Caddell explains that 2008 was a record turnout year for Democrats in many states such as Florida and more recent numbers show losing members in the hundreds of thousands for the DNC. Caddell tries to identify the cause and e

The game is a joke for balancing, all you have to do is be Obama and only run smear ads... idk if it is an overwhelming liberal bias from the developers but it is a lot harder to win as Red, it's like the map is beefed up for Democrats from 2008 which was a record turn out meanwhile all signs are indicating this is not 2008, I know too many people who weren't even going to vote this election cause they were so discouraged by their guy last time. Go on the
Firing Big Bird is stupid, I would rather see 9/11 attacks (Libya/Egypt) than Syria. Syria was a good idea but Arming Syrian Rebels isn't endorsed by the public (over 80%), weapons given have already gone into the hands of jihadist as well. I think a foreign aid category would be much better, would go great with [Rand Paul]( http://youtu.be/JtdY9SGPq5E ) as a candidate since he has said he would run in 2016 if Romney is
EDIT: I ordered the 4-pack from steam but it only placed 1 item in my [inventory]( http://steamcommunity.com/id/efarah/inventory/#753 ) that in the description says T he Political Machine 2012 4-Pack. I was expecting to get 4 individual copies of the game I could trade and gift, now I am afraid I can't split them up EDIT: answered in live chat <

Oklahoma is the reddest state, and the last Democrat to win in the other five was Bill Clinton, who appealed to white southern men and Scots-Irish, blue collar voters [aided of course that this was largely his home region, being from Arkansas]. Are your models bas
We got Clinton, but still no McCain, would be nice to have W to run against Al Gore + Kerry
We got Clinton, but still no McCain, would be nice to have W to run against Al Gore + Kerry
We need so many more candidates, you can't even have any match ups that make sense, there's no Bush's or any match ups with the historical characters to have a realistic ticket
Give it a bit . . I may have an easy solution for you.
I like the sound of that, I hope it's as easy as the first update, I don't have 2008 and don't want to spend more money ordering it off amazon than I did getting the newest version from steam
Medicare obviously needs to be included
I had the same problem, I ended up having to pull all my attack ads about my opponent opposing reducing unemployment because eventually democrats and independents were against it it southern states like Arkansas and Missouri
we need yet another patch you guys
PLEASE! Also those unlockables that are hidden in the code, we need more candidates, especially dems, none of them are serious presidential candidates; like Michelle Obama, Peloski and former democratic presidential candidates, like how is there Al Gore and John Kerry, but no McCain. I like this game, have bought 4 so far and will probably get another pack, but there
Can you lan with the same game or do you have to buy additional licences?
What I'd like to see is the option to have the electoral college voting wieghts in each state dynamically changing as the game progesses.
Custom electorals and wealth would be nice too, when I did a random game there was like over 1200 electorals out there with some states having a stupid population or wealth for the size or proximity to high value states around it
The two additions are: Corporation Tax cuts - Supported by Republicans Start up Tax cuts - Supported by Democrats Am I reading that right? I won't be touching this mod as it looks like it would really break realism, to have a republican party that is against big government, bank bailouts, auto bail out, and for reducing unemployment and reducing deficit would be for corporate tax cuts then against start up tax cuts, is the
Hey I was looking to pick up additional copies of The Political Machine 2012 after the reception received from www.steamgifts.com from a couple giveaways, however Stardock only offers single copies through their distribution method so; is steam the only way possible to order 4-pack, and is there any chance in coupons for people who already own the game who wish to continue supporting, I'm looking to set my brother up with this game for so
When you are choosing your game it has world setup. It looks like campaign 2012 is the only option though for scenarios, like there was supposed to be me... There's hardly any Democrats
As someone who only has 2012 I feel like I'm missing a lot more gameplay with the scenarios and historical figures
you invest weeks into a campaign and then results are over in a nanosecond it feels like.
I guess that's campaigning, you make good points for expanding election night process but I still found it very suspenseful going through each state, especially if your states are scattered or don't come in till later
As cool as that would be it sounds like a lot to implement with multiple candidates and adding another set of polls. It would be nice to see some lead up to the National Conventions that take place shortly before the main election, when most people name their running mate and win the parties nomination, it doesn't make any sense to have the VP randomly put in half way through, in an epic game you could campaign for a full year before election with a running mate.
Would like to see more candidates added, there are very few Democrats to choose from a many high profile Republicans are missing like Paul Ryan and John McCain. I would also love the ability to go across party lines for VP, perhaps increasing the other parties appeal but hurting standings with your own? Historical candidates and parties would be another great addition. More focus on fast and furious plus a rewrite of the Tea Party would help realism
