Ensure you have WB 11.06 or later installed.
Good question... This is my install: Windows 11 Professional 24H2 (26100.ge_release.240331-1435) WindowBlinds 11.06 (021 x64 - Windows 11 Edition) - 64 bit OS Window titlebar blur features are enabled on this operating system Wblind.dll
Weird Issue in Windows 11 Issues: Windows Key + E opens a blank, black screen, no files. Text in start menu is missing Trying to upload a file to YouTube or a Photo to Facebook does not bring up the file explorer. I ran SFC and DISM and it didn't fix Updated graphics driver, rebooted, still no joy I unloaded Windows Blinds, and all the problems went away.
I just realized I haven't had this issue in quite some time... I'm running Start11 Business Edition 2.5.3 Windows 11 Pro 24H2 OS Build 26100.4652 Ever since I disabled "Let Start11 enhance the taskbar"
Okay, I have done exactly as instructed and will let you know if anything unusual occurs. Thank you!
ok will do
I just installed Windowsblinds on Windows 11 Pro and periodically, both my monitors go black or lock up for random amounts of time, i had to unload Windows blinds... is this a known issue? Moved to Windowblinds area
Ok interesting... I closed a few tabs in my browser and it started freaking out again. Changing the task bar sizing / resetting explorer.exe fixed it again.
Possible point of interest -- I set the start11 v2 taskbar > size from medium to small, and it fixed the issue, for now... as it seems restarting explorer does fix it briefly.
Unfortunately, it's doing it again. taksbar programs flashing and taksbar unclickable
Interesting thing happened. 1. Install Start11 v2 2. Register with product key successfully and prompted to reboot 3. Reboot 4. Upon reboot, Start 11 not installed 5. Install Start 11, not prompted to reboot So, it's now working and I will update if the issue occurs again.
Great thanks.
Question, would you recommend I install Start11 or Start11 v2?
Latest version of Start 11, I'll try that reinstall / reboot this morning and get back to you.
I reinstalled Windows 11 Pro recently, updated windows, everything... and suddenly the taskbar becomes un-clickable, desktop unclickable, hovering windows from bar flashing on screen and clock not updating... I would constantly have to restart explorer.exe to fix it... I uninstalled Start11 and the issues went away. This may be a coincidence and not even related to this but i felt I should mention since at the moment it's not happened since uninstalling Start 11. <
I have this problem currently in Windows 11 with Fences 5.54 I also have a "new group" in start11 I cannot remove. Can't remove a second page. Gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling Start11.
I guess I can just keep the programs running, they're not slowing me down. <span style="color: #71767b; font-family: TwitterChirp, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; white-space-
Curious, if I order the open applications in my Windows 11 taskbar, can I save that order somehow?
Perfect! I set windows scheme to dark, then set the start11 taskbar "Use automatic color for the taskbar" to on.
I am having this issue, if I have the taskbar dark, I cannot read the clock, see the tasktray icons, the up arrow, etc, all the things on the far right side of the taskbar... you have to hover over them to see them, so I'm curious if there's a way to set those areas to the hover color all the time, so I can keep the bar dark, but always see those items?
in Deskscapes 11, on the left under Pictures, I see random screenshots, selecting all and clicking options does nothing... I cannot remove what is there or add files... Nevermind, I figured it out :)
Got it, thanks.
