I personally would be more than fine with the dev's making the other factions available now, under the premise that bug reports concerning the other factions would be ignored until such a time as they are patched up to an acceptable state. Goddamn i'm impatient. My own personal fault i guess. edit: Second page snypa!

This is truly an issue when playing with buddies. And i'm not really quite sure myself on how the dev's can resolve this in a logical manner. Perhaps neutrals can be made to ignore diplomatic vessels. I don't foresee the neutrals being a military pain to an ally, after all, they are free cap ship experience for them, a massive gift for any ally.

No, just.... no. Titan's are supposed to be solo bad asses, an incredibly powerful war asset that must be carefully utilized. Multiple titan's would make it too easy to cover multiple front's. They are solowtfpwnmobiles, with emphasis on SOLO. Search your feelings, you know it be true!

Yes Pirate Mercenaries may seem very powerful/overpowered, but if the pirate faction is eliminated, you WILL NOT get any more free pirate ships. So don't even think of researching it on a no pirate map. In my eyes this makes the tech balanced, as it really doesn't take much to eliminate the pirates from the match, especially with the new titans.

I believe that this is how Stardock wishes for it to function.[/quote] Yeah, i figured that might be intended, just double checking due to it making the research obsolete. What about the whole one base down, pirate faction dead thing though? It seems silly that the pirates are considered down and out from losing one of several bases.

First post, be gentle. ;) I've been playing the BETA now for a few hours and have noticed some strange things concerning both pirates as a faction, and the TEC Rebel research called Pirate Mercenaries. Firstly, it seems that on a map containing more than one pirate base, should any of the bases be taken out, the pirate faction is considered dead even though several bases remain, is this intended? Secondly, the research, Pirate Mercenaries, will also stop working ent
