Alistaira, Glad you're enjoying the game. A few tips related to your questions: -Make sure you're building AND UPGRADING your Outreach Centers. This will make a big difference in how quickly you can accumulate PR Clout -When creating a custom candidate, lowering other stats from their default value of 5 gives you more points to spend in other areas. Try this to focus on the stats that play best to your strategies. Hope this helps!
You'll likely have to replace existing endorsements to add any new ones. It's possible there may be a hack to add more, but nothing comes to mind.
Support will help you out, but it may be as simple as choosing "Delete Local Content" on the left-click menu in Steam and re-installing the game (if you want to give that a try).
Ah, I see. Thanks for the info. We'll fix it!
There is margin of error built into each candidate's polling. (+-3% I think) It gives you a fairly accurate prediction, but as in real life, is not 100% certain.
I'm not sure where you're getting that info. The help text on the Ad screen explains that TV ads have the highest bonuses to State, national, awareness, and issues.
We're currently looking into this issue and hope to have a fix soon. We believe it may be at least partially related to the quality of connection between 2 players.
Can you confirm this was this a singleplayer game? Thanks!
We're investigating this issue now. Thanks for the info!
There's a lot you can do to issues, endorsements, candidates, and interviews if you go poking around the .xml files. I'll check on whether models can be added easily.
Thanks for the feedback! We're testing some internal fixes for the following issue and hope to patch it soon: "Another technical problem is that sometimes soon after I load a game, and EVERY time I attempt to load a game while already engaged in gameplay, the game will crash. A minor inconvenience, but would like to see it fixed."
There is an extensive tutorial/manual accessible from the main menu of the game, but not a seperate .pdf
Yeah, awareness is definitely the biggest effect. Switching up issues is just a way to maximize the effect of the speech. I typically use speeches late-game to quickly boost awareness ignored states that are leaning towards my opponent. It's a good way to steal a few states they were taking for granted.
We're looking into it now. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the video. Zubaz is correct. What you're setting there is the stance you will take in the speech or ad you create. All that matters is what issue and stance you have selected when you hit "Give Speech" or "Create Ad"
Mrmagic007, Please contact support at [email protected] They'll be happy to help. Thanks!
Generalissimo, Thanks for the info. First we've heard of that type of issue. Please try uninstalling the game; left-click on the game in your Steam library and choose "Delete Local Content". Then re-download it. If the issue persists, please contact support at [email protected]
We'll look into it, thanks. If anyone else is seeing this please post it here as well.
Thanks for the info. Could I get a little bit of clarification on this? Are you saying if you say you're "In favor" of reducing unemployment your stance on all other issues will switch to "in favor" of those issues? A description of the screens you're looking at, issues you're seeing this on would be helpful. Thank you!
Thanks for the info. We'll look into these. As for #1, voter opinion can change over the course of the game based on what you or your opponent is campaigning on. It doesn't always happen, but if someone is hammering on an issue it can. Also, there is random margin of error in the polling data (as in real life), this may be what you're seeing. Thanks again!
Thanks for sending in the support ticket. They'll get this straightened out.
