could also be some connection to the skipping problem you were having with Itunes.Maybe uninstall Itunes also, then redo sound drivers and then reinstall Itunes.

sorry, last of your post was not showing yet. Try entering setup and checking the onboard is set to use. Could also check audio properties hardware box to make sure your audio device is selected.

Make sure any onboard audio is disabled in setup, could cause a conflict.

do what doc said. shut down , remove card. reboot without card, remove drivers, shut down, re install card, reboot, reinstall drivers.

Unfortunately, diapers are not just for kids. I work at a nursing rehab facility, and adult diapers outnumber residents 50 to 1.It smells bad enough without storing all those cloth diapers. I like disposable.

Someone once suggested to me at this site to try a different browser. My opinion is, the internet is full of crap that needs wiped out. It is crossing its wires. To much old stuff. We should start over with windows nt and go forward again. That way , my computer will not be outdated, but, ahead of the times. Sorry, try the browser thing.Probably not it though.

I am sure you have a backup pre installed on a partition, whether or not you know how to access it is another story. How about borrowing a disc from someone. You have to boot from the disc to avoid the updates starting . There is also a chance you can download the newest from somewhere else to a flash drive and boot up to see if windows will install the updates properly, but it is slim without setting up to boot from a usb port.
