game activity in sins in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

so im a bit of a rts enthusiast but thats besides the point. i recently saw a few youtube vids of this game and i actually thought about buying the game about 6 months ago but kinda got busy and forgot about it but what i wanted to know is if the game has a big multiplayer community and also the star wars and star trek mods do people play those online at all because i really like the way those mods looked as i am a bit fan of both franchises so what i really want to know is it worth it
