Holy Trinity is the only strategy page I managed to create and update, though it still needs notes on what patch and any other factors made the classic version obsolete.

I try, I really do. The wiki is out of date for any Diplomacy/Trinity patches after 1.32, which I think are 1.33 and 1.34, but since I wasn't playing when those patches came out, I don't know for certain.
I still don't understand why it isn't either, declare your allegiance in a match like they originally said it was going to be, or CnC Generals: Zero Hour where the original factions were still available. Rebellion won't be a true replacement for Diplomacy/Trinity unless one of these happens. But what do I know, I am just a noob who doesn't have a computer that can handle Sins in general at the moment.
As I thought, I am not infected.
Homeworld ships in general are very functional, its one of the hallmarks of the series. I won't speak to the graphics, since I believe Homeworld 2 to be a step backwards from Homeworld in virtually every depart.
If my computer was capable of handling either of the new Blizzard games, SC2 and D3, I would have probably given them a try by now. [spoiler]Several things are also bugging me, like what happened to the three races in SC2, with the terrans not having firebats and medics in multiplayer, the zerg tech tree shake up that led to the loss of the lurker and the mediocrity of the hydralisk, and the protoss not having dark archons. Online only and the loss of my favorite class, the paladin, i
Yes, the video imbedded into this thread is wrong, but the link is to the actual preview.

Every Stardock game prior to this one I can now download directly from Stardock's website, no third party required. People who wanted to use steam could, and people like me who don't want to use it could work directly with the publisher. Now we don't have that choice, and we don't have an obviously better product becaus

As Sins uses steam works, where ever you buy it, you have to use steam. Even worse, the Rebellion Beta doesn't seem to use the good Steam features for anything. Multiplayer features are as basic as always, steam friends would be there even on a non steam works game. What benefit is there to using steam w

None of my Sins stuff (vanilla, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy) is showing up in SDC, and its not currently installed through Impulse, because my computer can't quite handle Sins.
Ah, a Telgorn shipyard from the X-wing flight sim series.
[quote who="-RAISTLIN-" reply="24" id="3121902"]i guess so, but from memory supcom was patched from release => latest via GPGnet as part of the installation process so i can understand why GPG would move that to steam, to save players having to search for the manual updates. I bought Supreme Commander Gold through Impulse, before GameStop purchased Impulse. At that time, Supreme Commander Gold didn't require Steam, but I only ended up installing SupCom, because Forged Alliance was rather large download, and I didn't know if I would like it. Today, I finally got around to installing Forged Alliance, and I learned that Supreme Commander and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War are now the Steam version. Now I don't know what I am going to do.
Trinity is just vanilla, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy packaged together, so getting the micro-expansion bundle is another option if you don't have Entrenchment or Diplomacy.
I have tried to improve it, but since I can't play anything Sins at the moment, its kind of hard. Its missing all patches since 1.32 for Diplomacy/Trinity.
There has to be a way to fix this Homing Mines only for the Aeria Drone Host silliness.
Edit: Stupid thing got confused.
What are the new maps in Rebellion? All maps mentioned so far are from vanilla, Entrenchment, or Diplomacy.
I don't see why they can't either make it like they said it was going to be, i.e. chose your allegiance in a match, or at least like CnC Generals: Zero Hour where the original factions were still available, otherwise it will never be a true replacement for Diplomacy/Trinity.
