Installing the Sins expansions without Internet in Technical Sins Forums

I can finally play Sins again! Between reverting the old graphics card on my parents' computer and getting a decent computer of my own, I should be able to play Sins again, but my computer doesn't have internet, so I was wondering how I might install the Sins expansions on a computer that doesn't have internet. I can get the latest version of Sins from Stardock, but the expansions aren't available from there, only GameStop. I am sure there is probably a way to download the exp

I watched Defiance and liked what I am saw, now if only I was in the internet on consoles age right now, I could be playing the game on Xbox 360 in addition to watching the show. As I understand it, the game leads into the show to a certain extent.

As I alluded to in my previous post, I love the StarCraft universe, so I am not just going to abandon it, because StarCraft II doesn't have the annoying kind of always online (you need to be online only to get achievements, not to play the game) and the gameplay looks like an improvement over SC and BW. I am a young guy at 23, but I don't need to be always plugged in. Gaming for me has always been about the singleplayer experience, with multiplayer always being secondary. Multiplayer for me has always been what we now call split-screen, when consoles only had two controllers at most, and playing with or against my brother was fun when he wasn't dominating. Connecting consoles to the internet is so alien to me that I still haven't done it yet.

I am actually interested in getting WoL and HotS, now more than ever. Yes, you read that correctly, anti-always online me is actually interested in StarCraft II, because it appears to actually be an improvement over SC and BW. If I had a computer capable of handling it, I probably would have gotten it by now. The tie-in stories are excellent, especially Broken Wide, Stealing Thunder, Cold Symmetry, Mothership, and Colossus.

EA has so far screwed up CnC in the aftermath of Generals/Zero Hour, and I am not expecting the latest one to change that. Homeworld was never really able to follow up on the original. StarCraft is all about speed, though I do like the game and universe, its just too fast-paced for my taste. SupCom was never properly followed up on, though Planetary Annihilation seems like it might change that. Planetary Annihilation really does seem to be the only bright spot for RTS on the horizon.

I have gotten used to the ribbon, but it sure took awhile after DeVry switched to 7 and I got to consistently use it. I still don't know what to think of 8, and I am sure not in hurry to use it. If I ever get a new computer, I would get 7 since its close enough to XP, hell, I still use XP on a daily basis.

The first PC game I ever played was Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, specifically the demo at a Gateway store and later the full game when my family finally got our Gateway computer, but the oldest PC games I have played are the likes of CnC: Tiberium Dawn, Age of Empires, and Homeworld since then.

I don't read eBooks, I am a physical books person all the way. I utterly despise having to use online textbooks at college. I am behind on getting all of the Star Wars books I love. Indeed, a non-Steam option is definitely welcome. I was perfectly happy with the way Sins worked before, but I hardly even want Rebellion now that Steam is involved. I don't want or need all of the Steam features, because virtually all of them can be done without needing third party software. THQ already forced me into using Steam for Supreme Commander Gold, if I ever want to reinstall it, without my knowledge, after I bought a non-Steam version.
