Can we please have a one handed spear!!! Spear and Shield seem like they never make it in video games.
Yes! Greek style! But in the martial sense not in the twisted, irreverent Xia sense. But maybe he was referring to an actual spear & shield--thrust/block/parry in a non-bawdy way...idk? (if he says "one-handed anything...I am curiosly skeptical <img src="http://web.stardock.net/images/smiles/themes/digicons/Big%20Smile.

love the game but finding it very frustrating due to freezes and crashes running 1.1 version I hope 1.2 comes soon [very I could have expressed my opinion that manner...not that there's anything WRONG with that.............
As excited as I am about FE---I have to say after all this time I simply want EWom to be consistently playable. Am I a nudge/kill joy? idk. maybe. I am cautiously optimistic about something new when something that already exists is not quite what it should be. I am a confessed romantic and believe in a happy ending in this case (in the traditional Easter Bunny sense---NOT in the sordid sense that a wayward adventurer might find in the bordellos of the backstreets of Umbar [e digicons]:O
Yeah...I fell ya Bro..I play b/c i love the game but I know it only goes so far. Hate to wax trite but patience (in my case a quality rarer than Elementium) is a virtue....
Heh, you cheeky bastard.
Ha! you got it----though bawdy was the word that initially came to mind--- cheeky is far more appropriate & playful, methinks. Great double entendre--btw! ROFL.
But frogs ass?
"Is a frog's ass water tight?" was a rhetorical question my father often asked to make a point. As far as hiding anything there, I was referring to Walken's speech about the watch in "Pulp Fiction."
you'd have to contend with the wrath of your wife then
LOL. yeah, i already do that. Dividing my attention between my chihuahua, the game, & her is the proverbial slippery slope...
and I don't think that's very appropriate for the forum... I'm quite sure there are... "younger" people here who aren't adults reading the forums. Anyone who types stuff out like this as if fantasizing about something like this in a game or for a game... really needs to get out more.
Point taken. I do not feel that I was impetuous when I posted--however. I have been in this forum since late Augus
get a girlfriend.
I'm thinking about it, but then I would have to step up my time management skills---balancing work, wife, and an active gaming life would make taking on a girlfriend a real challenge. Besides, I don't have Verga's good looks which makes the task that much more difficult.
Actually, Xia, your Chevy Chase/Soylent Green reference some time back kinda inspired me. And--I think you're out on an obscure limb if you are referencing old Charlton Heston movies--not many these days would get that IMO. But I definitely appreciated it! That's Latin, Darlin'. Evidently, Ringo is an educated man."
Just rambling..didn't mean to offend. No drugs (though I did consider the thought would enter some people's mind)--just an over active imagination & an affinity for movie quotes....
I love the Elemental experience. It reminds me of playing on the sandlot and conjuring ways to make Wendy Peppercorn my queen in the land of Gilden. And--just when I thought she would be the Juliet to my RomeonetittykakaOOmpopop, a spell was cast to reveal the sultry glow of Relias’ bastard daughter---MJRC….. My thoughts drifted back to erect nipple wet dreams about Mary Jane Rottencrotch and the Great Homecoming Fuck Fa
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16468196/debugn.err can't even access the game. it crashes upon loading---save/auto/previous
Also, I don't remember reading but is FE considered an expansion pack or it is totally separate game?
Anyone tried the Beta? I've watched a video of the cynical brit about darkspore and it really made me want to go into it ! It looks like a mix between leagues of legends (or DotA), Spore (but it's daaaaaaaaaaark) and diablo !
Yeah, I've been trying the beta though I still favor Elemental which is more my style. Your mix description sounds about right.
This is the current game I have been playing. OOM crashes are better but movement intermittently lags. It is brutal when it happens on the tactical screen. Anyway, I just brought up the save and all my cities lettering and the borders went dark and the screen started shaking like a tremor spell has been cast. 2nd time that I have seen this. It usually disappears when I go back. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16468196/womn1.EleSav
Okay, thanks. Is the file actually called "dmp" ? And is one always produced on a OOM crash?
AlLanNandragoran--- I have been following some of your posts. Geez! You're a freaking beast with the bug hunt. I admire your patience & tenacity. Do you worK?? Question: what is a dmp file and where would I find it? I'm not much for the tech side of things--I just wanna play the game. Thanks~Phy [e digicons]k1[/e]
Yeah. I have grown accustomed to the leaks--sadly enough ;)---but in the last 2 patches I have been plagued by slow play on both the main screen and tactical. It comes and goes. I either cannot cast spells, get only one move for each unit or some other debilitating combo. I ignored it in the m patch but it persists in the n. Anybody else experiencing this? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16468196/womn.EleSav
Haha. I am Athiest and anit-Drug, so my mind is only fogged by the possible genetic passing of mental illness from parents, one Bipolar and one Schizophrenic. That is how you make a Xia...
ROFL
Premiere was great.
Yes, it was but did they have to do a Morlock rip off for the Others?? Everything else was so frickin awesome---seemed odd that they would lean in the HG Wells direction...seemed anachronistic
ever faithful here....great movie reference btw Xia..best line of the whole flick I think
i have seen this in the last two versions.. not a fan of auto resolve
Regarding the finishing, I don't think that's gonna happen. There's only four books published of the series, with three more planned. And writing began in 1991 with latest book published in 2005...
yeah...wishful thinking, I know but if they did Lord of the Rings...who knows?
Real life mirrors Martin's books?
I was referring to the duality of humans--their virtues and failings. I have that many work places reflect the best and worst of human nature. I know I have encountered and Lannister or two. I thought Martin represented that well. I thought the series was great. Hard to put down.
