thanks. Can't believe I missed those. I was heavy into UFO Defense, Terror from the Deep, and Apocalypse. How do the titles you mention compare? Are they worth a look? Is there one you recommend in particular?

Do you contend that the original Trek over used the Nazi theme? Idk. Your point is not clear to me; at the same time, I would assert that Trek presented many different social issues throughout history. Roman/American Imperialism, Racial tension, Environmental Issues etc. The Nazis angle only reflects one facet of that brilliant series. "Nazi Spaceman," imo..could easily be substituted as Machiavellian A-hole. Slap whatever oppressed ethnic label you will--it usually boiled down to stron

Glen Larson had some fantastic tv shows back in the day, but his BSG PALES in comparison to Ronald D Moore's version. I SAW the original BSG as a kid. I also saw syndicated shows of the original Trek---not techn

Ah, I see. Ok. I'll see how things work without them. I had considered the possibility but was reluctant to give up the added flavor. Oh, well. Thanks!!

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16468196/a1.EleS I just killed the first wolf on Maggie's quest. I started to fight the 3 wolves and third turn into the tactical it slowed way down. I had to auto resolve to get out. Then as the turn ended on the main screen it went into the slow motion mode. Hope this helps. Thanks!

In tactical battle, play tends to slow at random times. It will take awhile to select a unit or action, or after selecting it takes awhile for the action to complete. I had this issue in the last version but rarely in others. It is similar on the main map, there is significant lag in either selection of a unit/action/building and sometimes at the end turn. It was surprising b/c it happened early on--before turn 30. As far as the tactical issue, it happened nearly every time--especially if the

Agree. Grimoire's mod is extremely helpful. Alas, the slow end turn/tactical lag/intermittent freezes diminish this benefit.
