Sounds pretty cool, but I'd also agree that it should be more of a DLC thing. I would rather they focus on the things that affect gameplay first.

As a side note, you might want to use http://pastebin.com/ for really long error reports. It's like an online notepad and comes with a unique link per paste so you don't even have to sign up.

None of them had a proper description. I even looked in the game-files, just to make sure, that I didn't misremember something.
Well, I remembered seeing it in the tooltip for the tech, but now it appears that the tooltip is for the sensor tech, a bug.
No, there are some descriptions for alpha techs. Fate is correct. Re: Distance. One of the first things I did was add in a 250% range penalty to all races, since I play almost exclusively on Immense.
It gives a free survey ship. Read the pop-up when you explore it.
That is a different anomaly. There is the teleport anomaly, and the free survey ship anomaly (where a survey ship pops out of a wormhole).
Considering how big space is in the first place, I find it more awkward that there is something in the way that I can't go around. If you want water or soemthing to be an obstacle play Civ with no boats.
Fair, though they do have at least black holes planned according to some of the xml files, which might cover number three.
I didn't actually notice until recently. Tourism seems to pay enough to cover all expenses for me.
Guys, it is alpha, they don't even have particle effects in yet. Leave pretty for later.
Encountered that problem as well. It was kind of funny, seeing my terran colony ship, an iridium colony ship, and an altarian colony ship all parked next to it trying to colonize.
Take a look here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/226860/discussions/2/558751812946655067/ Mormegil has a comment on this a bit down.
I can't play the game yet due to bugs and I still don't mind paying the $99. Guess what? You don't have to pay, you can wait. I paid that much, not because of the 'free stuff', but because I like the company.
On a completely unrelated bug, I can no longer run GC3 (crashing on note from devs) so am unable to change the resolution
Welcome to my world. Hopefully our stay won't be long.
Switched on my graphics card, game loaded and did not crash - however it moved most of the text off-screen.
Did you do anything special to get it to not crash?
If they use the same form of AI, the AI actually calculates it's turn during yours. That might explain some of it.
Same issue, turning off GelUI, Enable Bloom, and Ambient Occlusion options in the Graphics settings removes the white boxes, but leaves no background or other objects aside from the tooltips and side menu. This is with my graphics card off, using only the integrated graphics. Turning on the card results in immediate crash after the intro movie.
GMT -6 for me, usually most active around 18:00 and later into the night.
I download just fine with firefox.
Ugh, please no 3D maps, sure it is realistic, but the added axis just serves to make things ugly. I've yet to see any game pull off a 3D map that looks as coherent as a 2D map. The thing that gets in the way of looking at the map is the map itself.
I just sell them anyways. It's like free money falling into my lap.
I'm just going to point out that right now they don't have plans for this. Not that they never will add hot seat. There is such a thing as trying to implement too many new features at once. Especially if a problem is bigger than you thought it would be.
Even though the devs have already said that this is not going to happen?
Whats a little thing like word of Devs to stop anyone? [e digicons]XD[/e] Especially since they have already changed their minds about things (Totally acceptable at this point, being pre-alpha).
I also am wondering how the Iridium Corporation is different from the Korx... That aside, the map picture is drawing most of my attention. It appears to contain a nebula in the bottom right as well.
Quoting Tyrantissar, reply 33 If tactical battles are implemented, everyone is forced to be tactical. Why? What's stopping people from simply choosing to auto-resolve if they wish? I routinely play long games where I reach the end of the tech tree. I play on Immense, abundant planets and stars, tight clusters, very slow research, and I gave every race a -250% range penalty and de-emphasized the life support techs a bit. This makes your initial range about the size of your homeworld's influence. However, the thing about simply adding more techs is that you will reach the end of those too, and then want more. Instead, I'd rather have s
