I also have been having the same issues with IP on my Windows 7 x64 system. Folder icons especially have a tendancy to revert back to default for no reason. There have even been instances where I can't get an icon to change and have gone as far as removing it from the pack completely to get rid of it, and believe it or not, it still displays !!!!! That's just crazy !!! Some of my icons won't even display correctly, particularly the shadow effects of some 3D type icons. As a previo

If you all recall, I was having similar problems a few months ago. I found the problem to be in the Windows 7 visual settings. I went to ...Computer>Properties>Advanced System Settings>Performance>Settings.......Then I UNchecked "Let Windows decide what is best for my computer" and put a CHECK in the box "Adjust for best appearance" and BINGO ! Problem solved. On another note, I too at one time had TuneUp Utilities installed on my OS along with WB. It also was cr

I don't know if you have tried this, but it may be worth a shot since Windows can be very aggressive with limiting system resources which I have experienced first hand with issues that I have had. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. IE9. Interesting question you have regarding the shortcuts. I wasn't aware that I have any control over that. This was not a problem until I re-installed my OS to clean up some of the garbage on my hard drive. I downloaded all the updates like always. Then I re-installed Impulse and had it download all of my available Stardock Programs,so you can imagine how surprised I am now that it doesn't work. I can't imagine what could be different now to caus

No other customizing software. I didn't have this problem until I re-installed my Windows 7 OS. At this point, I highly suspect that a recent Windows update addressing a DirectWrite issue may be the culpret. I'm going to see if uninstalling some of those updates will resolve the issue, if not than I'm SOL.

YIKES ! I have a major problem. None, and I mean NONE of my Windowblind skins are displaying properly at the top of the IE9 browser window. Including the back button, address bar, home button, favorites button & tools button. What's odd is, the Window Explorer displays it just fine, but when I bring up a webpage ,the top of the window is garbage, as well as the function buttons such as , (minimize, resize, and close) do not work ! I tried the Compatibility View function, but it h
