they kinda are if you look at the stats of regular ppl rage quitters are an exception, but they deserve to be on the list too anways, I'll remove it
Yeodan
minotaurs are nice late game when you have enough gold to buy em, they add some dps so they're usefull, they can also be used to distract towers / explore the map / destroy reg mines / ...
that's why you MUST lock the portal once you cap it and get out again tele back in when the lock is about to go off, put a new lock on die / get out, repeat = win
Got everything working again. Verified my demigod installation trough impulse and then updated it. I guess you're not supposed to edit the .lua files.
Okay I found out how to edit the file, gonne see if it works now! Nope it doesn't work, it even broke my game =) Just what I expected!
So there are some bug fixes in the pinned topic. To fix the bugs you have to edit the .lua files. Here are some problems: Wich program do you use to edit the .lua files? (notepad doesn't show line numbers wich makes it pretty hard and inaccurate to select certain lines and replace them) How do you save a file while it's in a .zip archive? I tried unzipping it but that seemed like a bad idea after a few seconds. Are we even supposed to fix these t
I'm not sure wether this is a good indicator to see if ppl cheat or not I have 1.75% disconnected games but I never rage quit so 10% seems quite a lot to me also 80-90%+ wins looks hacked all by itself I guess 80% is possible if you're really really good and never play with noobs, but 85-90%+ seems impossible to me
No way, you can't add yourself [e digicons]:([/e]
I seem to get this error when I click the following things in ready to play: Ready to play 1 game (both ready and 1 game give this error) then when I select demigod and click the refresh or options in the select friends part I get this error too might be a diffrent error, but it looks the same on first sight: System.ArgumentException: De aangevraagde waarde LINKS is niet gevonden. bij System.Enum.Parse(Type enumType, String
maybe rank isn't a perfect reflection of skill, but it seems to reflect it a lot better than win % I've seen ppl with 60% and even 80%+ play like total retards you don't get a higher rank for playing a lot rank goes up according to how good the ppl you play are so if you win one match against good opponents your rank should go up a lot more than by winning 10 matches against bad opponents ofcourse you could just constantly play matches vs
guess this needs another bump
I'm pretty sure, read this in another rook build thread and wanted to try it out. Someone should double-check though =)
I've been playing for about a month now and I'm getting a bit tired of all the pug games. I'm looking for some good players who can help me reach the next level of skill and ofcourse who I can play some challenging games with. Currently I've played 168 games with a 54,8% win. I've tried playing with all the demigods, and know basic strategy for all of them. My best demigods are (in this order): UB, Oak / Ereb, Sedna I'd love to learn ho
actually a rook gets splash damage without god strength too, you get it around lvl 6-8, dont remember exactly but I've seen it when playing rook, I didn't have god strength but still killed a full creep wave in 1 or 2 hits
Playtime and # of games played are good indicators imho.
they are, but only total # of games, not # of games this Epoch
couldnt find killias and mcshane (McShane87?)
you can't add yourself to the list! only I can =P Cowbuttzex I'm gonne put a limit on the amount of ppl you may add soon if you keep this up =P
The current overlay shows games played / games won / familiarity Currently it only shows the games played for this Epoch? It would be a lot better if it showed the total games played. Say a player played 500 games last Epoch but only 10 this Epoch, everyone will think he's a 10 game noob, while he is not. Currently the overlay shows % games won, this isn't really a great indicator to how good someone is. I can get 90% wins by playing only against noobs
I disagree CelMare here is what would happen in most cases: you cast fireball, 1300 dmg opponents casts wather his best skill is or his you a few times, you lose a third or even half your life from this since you have no armor and not a lot of health either you switch from fire to cold, opponent does more dmg and now you're down to one third of your health you press the roi button but opponent stuns you and hits you a few more times, bam
what's the point of having good stats if you suck at the game? look mommy: I can beat up noobs?
kinda forgot about that since I only play Cataract really thx for flaming that out though =)
I think once they fix the auto-attack bug on a fire TB it will pwn TB isn't a solo demigod, but with a teammate to help you it owns, circle of fire + fireball + fire nova makes it impossible for any enemy to stay near your teammate for very long and fireball is a great killer-move also the fire aura gives a huge advantage to your team, way better than permafrost (ice aura) circle of fire = 150 dps fireball = 1050 dmg every 7 seconds = 150 dps
I was talking about cataract. the problem here is that in any realistic situation your team will not be able to hold the enemy 2v3, unless they got a tower or two helping them, but even then it could be nearly impossible so they do need your help to keep your gold flag and the portal behind it or you will lose your gold flag and your portal on the other hand if you do go there you keep your gold flag and portal, maybe get a kill, but you also get a massive warscore dis
