Pinned Topic Lua Editing Question(s)

So there are some bug fixes in the pinned topic. To fix the bugs you have to edit the .lua files.

Here are some problems:

Wich program do you use to edit the .lua files? (notepad doesn't show line numbers wich makes it pretty hard and inaccurate to select certain lines and replace them)

How do you save a file while it's in a .zip archive? I tried unzipping it but that seemed like a bad idea after a few seconds.

 

Are we even supposed to fix these things ourselves are is stardock supposed to fix them and patch them and did you just help them out a bit by showing them how to fix it?

Okay I found out how to edit the file, gonne see if it works now!

Nope it doesn't work, it even broke my game =)

Got everything working again.

Verified my demigod installation trough impulse and then updated it.

I guess you're not supposed to edit the .lua files.

Start11 - Customize the Start Menu and Taskbar in Windows 10/11.

Version 1.19 Demigod checks dgdata.zip is not a folder and is not modified, so you can't mod right now.
