I disagree that the three OSes in question are not comparable. After all, they are all three operating systems. All three provide an interface between applications and hardware and all three do a pretty good job of allowing the user to organize and launch applications and documents. Windows has separate versions for desktop and server use, and Linux is the same for both. I don't know if MacOS (or OSX, or whatever it's called) is good for servers, or has a separate version, or what...I
