Still 16pix titlebar is definately going to feel small, might be clean and tight but still small. Also noticed in the past if caption is not set to correct height by the author console windows becomes evil! it is easily fixed though.

Seem's there is something weird going on with edit posts :o
I trully would not use it, I don''''''''t like the idea people knowing what skins Im using as I never show my desktop these days. Stardock software is the best but I could imagine sales will immensely. This is nothing personal but why do something like this when Stardock software is going so well, as I would be totally against having this in my desktop customization software. If you do this, atleast give the option to not install it like Messenger Plus, "I accept, Do
Lord Vimal, its not that big just over 1meg. Some of us wanted this funky cool fade in feature you know
That would be WindowFX2 on the left, a tiling feature which is purdy!
Just as Koasati said, really pleased contest extended for another month as I was originally only going to submit 2 entries, I will have 4 by end of the month. Quite surprised at Winamp side though, so many outstanding winamp skinners out there and there ain't many entered...
Well it just goes to show TGTsoft has brainwashed almost the entire skinning community, ZOMBIES!!!! was saying this few weeks back on IRC on how bad it has gotten. It show's people have no respect anymore or to few, cannot even post anything on Neowin or other places except get rattled and burned by users if you post something related to skinning. You'll get accused for ripping colours shapes its so ridiculous these days anything users will do to give you or a company a bad name.
#6 by stoavio - 3/20/2004 12:05:36 AM Ok, just a follow up post. I designed the My Computer icon and resized it using the following dimensions: 32x32 (WinXP), 128x128(WinXP), 96x96(WinXP), 64x64(WinXP), 48x48(WinXP), 16x16(WinXP) and 16x16(256 Colors). When I begin compiling my package of icons in Icon Packager, will I have to add each dimension of the same icon indi
#3 by Developer joetheblow - 3/19/2004 10:36:07 PM Was that a vector image in Photoshop, vf, or was it a regular image? No it isn't a Vector, standard rectangle and Paths. Shows how it was quickly built up.
Well you can do it in both really, Photoshop or a Vector based program but I always build the icon large 256x256 mostly then run the png's through Icon Developer. This is just a simple icon that was done in Photoshop. It just depends how your icon program resamples the image weither it be softer or sharper looking as it gets smaller. Then when your Icons are ready just run Icon Packager, from View/Packa
With WB buttons you can set up a "Shift" function so the 'lock on top' button can have 'lock on bottom' also programmed in. buttons I'd like in a skin: Notepad (or the text editor system default) Screen Saver (to quickly lock the screen)| Calculator / Character Map A smart button for Quick Launch Winamp controls Clock Green Reaper'
Jasc Animation Shop or Gif Movie Gear
Heh, I like that robbing sounds so much nicer than the famous "RIP"
Im not sure which it is, but it could be a msstyle. Looks like another Luna variant? quite similar to this http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=140192&st=0
A matching Icon Package & WindowBlind.
It has to be one of a kind... something from your wildest dreams A design thats never been seen before and can't be based on something thats already out there. Cannot get anymore original than that, can you?
#27 by treetog - 2/29/2004 10:48:50 PM for my experience in the first GUI Olympics, power of use is the skins that uses the most complete of wb features available. Absoloutely! nothing is better than a complete fully Professional skin.
Im curious on who the Icon Masters will be attending, suppose time will soon tell.
#34 by Admin Jafo - 2/28/2004 8:40:44 AM What it's all about is fun, thrills, entertainment, recognition and [hopefully] some sexy new skins from 'God-knows-who' that will rock our collective socks. Indeed, the thing most people forget now a days FUN!!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a
I think what Brad is just trying to do is create more enthusiasm into the skinning side get more people inspired into skinning of what can be done. It's amazing the amount of people in Scotland that don't know about Desktop customization, there are some that know but to many that do not. If i ever speak to people about it they look at me like im some alien, apparently they think Graphic design is just pretty graphics for web sites. I hate to say this but i may be receiving this
/me does backflips Yeah baby! what an exciting time!
Tile mode is fantastic, it sure is a great space saver this feature. Plus i've always been fond of WinFX shadows.
Kona, you say it all the time....I don't like this...I don't like that...Negitive vibes run through your vains! You just a big ball of Negitivity! #58 by kona0197 - 2/23/2004 2:45:23 AM no I am not. You just thin
Should be fine George, as i have had no issue's with BootSkin on nForce2. Just make sure you get the nForce 3.13 driver kit, their drivers sure are a heck of alot better then VIA.
