I am having trouble connecting to others who try to join a game I host. 25% of the people can connect to me, 75% can not. Of those 75%, they can all connect to each other. Is there something wrong with my router or the port I am using? I use Win XP Pro with a wireless Lynksys router. Thanks

So I work 12 hour days and I get about 4 hours in the evening to occupy my time with whatever my heart desires. I decided tonight, much like the last 3 nights, to engage in the game of Demigod. In the 4 hours I have to play, 3 hours were utilized trying to connect to other players. In the 2 games I was able to join, both games were a victim of 2 out of the 6 players disconnecting or leaving because of the joy we call latency. I will admit the game is extreme

When I attempt to start the game, I receive a message saying: "Unable to start. Unable to create Direct3D. Please ensure system has current video drivers." It should be noted that I only receive this message after I hook up my LGW2242T monitor up to my laptop. I can run the game fine on the laptop (WIndows XP Pro), but as soon as I hook the monitor up to the laptop the game will not run. I have the most recent drivers for both my video card and monitor.
