I don't think this thread was ever resolved I can report exactly the same issue - two machines with identical versions: the players can both enter the lobby screen and chat to one another but when you create a game you disconnect from the lobby (this seems to happen at the point where you click continue in the dialogue to set a password) Help would be greatly appreciated!
