As I posted on another thread, if nothing is done, gamestop or some other companies WILL do that again: sell before the street date, and that's not fair to the other resellers, and I'm not even speaking of the pre-ordering customers here. So, something has to be done. You say my post is astonishing. What's astonishing in my eyes is that even in this economic crisis I worked and scrounged $40 to put my hands on a game, I pre-ordered something whereas I could have gotten it elsewhere earlier. A

Thing is, if nothing is done, they/people/GS/Stardock/whoever will continue to do it. If someone is not happy, there is one thing you can do to hurt where it really hurts: the money. Cancel your preorder. Stardock gets pissed. They sue GS. GS won't do it anymore.

I'm pissed too. The digital DL should have given us a little headstart, but now it's the contrary. This is the last time I preorder anything from them, too bad for them, that's some $ lost.

I don't understand... I bought the game via Impulse, via digital download. It said it would only get the money when the game gets available. I checked, they got the money. But I didn't get any serial code, no way to DL the game. Mpppff, smells fishy.

Hi. The retailers have the game on sale for 05/29 (play.com shopto). But shacknews has it for 04/14. Who is right ? If I pre-order it on Impulse ($40), will I be able to play if on 04/14 ? Because if not, I'd rather wait and pay 18 squids instead of $40.
