sorry for the super late reply, been a busy summer. Yes, I'm using a Benq XL2410T, it's a true 120 hz monitor, I can select 120 hz right in my control panel. I mean if i can pump out over 120 FPS on a modern 3D gaming engine shouldn't i be-able to run a simple 2D video clip at 120 fps? Are you saying deskscapes is truly THAT bad with it's usage optimization? could someone point me in the right direction for finding some

I'm just curious if anyone has tried creating a dream with a piece of 120 frame per second high def video and keep the quality rather than try to optimize it for system performance? I'm not worried about system usage, size or anything like that, I just want a true 120 FPS full quality dream to let the 120HZ monitor shine with deskscapes but I'm having trouble finding any 120 FPS video, short of shooting something myself on a 120 FPS camera. Just curious is perhaps any

yep, I'm at 32bit and I don't believe i have anything with directshow running unless deskscapes is using it but even with deskscapes disabled I still have this effect. It was either the new ATI drivers or windows 7 SP1 that caused it, I haven't installed anything else but I'm getting this same effect on both of my rigs with windows blinds, both with ATi cards and both with windows 7 64bit.

As of late on both of my machines, not sure if it was the windows 7 SP1 update that did it but whenever I apply a texture to the explorer background it is displayed with an odd negative effect, much like the negative effects that deskscapes offers on it's dreams. How do i resolve this issue? I've tried uninstalling all stardock software and reinstalling but no dice. </p

I was just having a problem with this as well and figured it out. If you right click on a tabbed dock and go to add>tabs>folder tab> you will get a window asking for you to specify a folder, this is where i got hung up. the problem for me is object dock is asking for me to specify a folder but it seems to be looking for a file and not a folder and it wont recognize any folders. just click on any file inside the folder you want to have tabbed and it will then create the new explorer t

2 support tickets......over a year of not being able to use soundpackager or only having it work for about a week after a reformat.......then i find this thread.......THANKYOU!!!!!!! Worked like a charm.....why the heck isnt the stardock support team offering this information to people with the same problem? they never mentioned anything like this to me, just a bunch of basic uninstall reinstall reboot run arounds that never worked. thankyou <a id="ctl

Im completly cleaning the drives with all 0's on my raid aray and going for another fresh windows install. i just reformated my media center PC with win 7 64bit and all the stardock software installed just fine although i did see the same "microsoft register server has stopped working" error while installing sound packager but it works just fine. I did not install tweak 7 though. Thanks for the help guys, I'll let you know if the issue pops up again.

I havent updated any drivers. The first time this happend was a couple weeks ago right after installing tweak 7 witch also broke soundpackager all together and I decided to do a reformat. I had perfomed a few tests after installing one application at a time and then checking soundpackager and discovered it truly was tweak 7 that was breaking soundpackager, perhaps specific to my hardware or soundcard....i went through multiple reformats that day because there was absolutly no way to fix sound

This is the second time I've had this issue, the first time the only way i was able to correct it was with a full reformat.............today it showed it's ugly face after i purchased and installed the premium desktop collage dynamic dream......the maximize, minimize, and close buttons will not show correctly on ANY WB skin except for the default aero. This time it has happened in a windows 7 32 bit installation....the last time it was in 64 bit. <img src="http://img193.imageshack.us/

shame i didnt read this before purchasing, i assumed because the free version worked so well in vista 64 bit there certainly couldnt be a issue with the version i was paying for. that being said i have a diffrent issue, i followed the intructions to the letter on page one , the beta shows for me in SDC and i can install it just fine but once i click on OD+ in the start menu i get nothing......it does absolutly nothing yet when i open up the task manager it shows object dock as running. so bas
