geramsam, If I undersand correctly this a theme you downloaded vz one you made. I am new to skinning myself, just started 2 weeks ago but to me it looks like something in the pressed image or rather the text of the pressed image is not aligned the same as the other images. each button has several states for normal, mouse over, pressed etc... perhaps whoever made the skin has something misaligned and did not notice (extremely easy to do). kool thanks guys. Didn't even notice the thumbs up button. Karma for all No, Unfortunately I'm not a subscriber yet. I am currently using the free versions of both WB and Skin Studio. Due to the economy state I am currently unemployed, but as soon as I get back to work and catch up on bills I will Definately be purchasing the full versions Skin Studio Pro and WB, and possible looking at subscribing later.

User Karma in Stardock Support General Stardock Forums

In my short time here a few have been very helpful, I would like to give some Karma but can't find the option. How do I give a user karma? I have looked in other users profile and clicked on the karma but I see no option for adding/give karma. Is this one of the areas that the citizen class does not have access to?? thanks

thanks, that's what I thought. I search google for a hour and could find nothing. Oh well. I will keep this in mind for future skins and make buttons that are not so close to calc font color.

Thank you all. after reading CountryYokels reply I downed his Less Colour skin and made an image just like his. Which is the same layout that VoidCore posted. It worked great. Funny though I had already tried the same basic layout in a .bmp image (leaving a few px space between images) and that didn't work, for some reason the .png did. soon as I figure out how I will give you all some karma. I can't find the options right now though in the karma or user

Is there a way to change the font color on the buttons for windows XP calculator? or is it one of those few area that cannot be changed? my buttons are a vibrant blue ending up similar to the font color of the 1-9 buttons in the calculator causing the numbers to be barely visible. I googled it last night but found nothing, will try again but thought I'd ask here. thanks

Hi, I'm having a problem with my group menu items images. I put a border around the menu thinking I could border the menu item images (selected,pressed etc) in the pic below you can see that the selected item renders the border on the left side but not on the right side. Help with Task bar Buttons in SkinStudio Stardock Forums

My Task Bar buttons are getting cut off and not rendering down to the bottom of the bar. I have tried multiple sizes of buttons ranging from larger to smaller in height compared to my task bar height, it is not the button height. I have adjusted all tile/stretch/paint margins to various options. I have opened other skins and looked at the image sixes and tile/stretch/paint margin variations but nothing works. I'm new to stardock software but... try uninstalling ALL stardock software again. before you reinstall, delete all stardock folders from the program files directory then manually delete any stardock entry from the registry (provided you know how!!!) If you don't know how to manually edit the registry BECAREFUL! first back it up!!!! open the registry on vista = all programs >> accessories >> run (or just typr regedit in the search field under all programs.

Thank you Night Train, the png worked. I don't know what the deal was with the magic pink. I had it set to true 255 0 255, I had set the hue manually rather than just picking a color in the pink area. I did try using the transparent and translucent settings, the image was a .bmp but nothing seemed to work. the solution was in the .png format. layer 1 tranparent, layer 2 image, layer 3 filter, merge down to one.
