Ohhh nevermind, solved my own problem XD I had the sins folder in but it had ANOTHER 7 sins folder in, got rid of the containing folder and voila it works

I have vista so that didnt make sence to me however when i pressed "show mod path" it said "C:/users/alex/appdata/local/ironclad games/sins of a solar empire/mods and i have put the mod there but it still doesnt work

Ok, i must be stupid. I had this mod and the game running fine, no probs. Then due to a lovely hard drive wipe recently i lost it and now i cant get this mod up and working again. I have Sins with patch 1.05, sins 2.1 no other mods, everythings there and it doesnt mini dump but when i activate the mod the new music doesnt show up and the new races dont show up, what am i doing wrong. thanks for answering (if you do)
When i try to play this mod the new races dont show up when i activate the mod... did i mess it up or mis-install it? please help
I downloaded and got the mod "Sins of a galactic empire" to show up in the mods menu and everything, but when i enabled it and tried to start a new game the new races wernt there, it was only TEC, Vasari and Advent compared to the supposed Republic, CSI, Empire, and Allience that should have taken their places, whats wrong with the mod?

I downloaded the newest version of the mod SoA, but when i activated the mod no maps were there, they all dissapeared, im using version 1.16 at the moment if that has anything to do with it
ok, when i go to appdata on Vista i dont see ironclad games anywhere, the only evidence i have that this game was made by ironcald games is the game opening, for some reason i can only get to stardock games, no ironclad games anywhere, please help
i cant find the folder Appdata and the show hidden folders thing the other guy sugested doesnt work for vista
I tried downloading galaxy forge but for some reason it downloaded with Bit-torrent instead of Impulse, and now i cant totaly uninstall bit-torrent to use impulse, what should i do?
