CyberFive
Games crashes after moving. It's in the campaign, 2 or 3 moves after defeating the bandits. I tried it twice. crash files can be found at: http://www.dovalmoexp.nl/Elemental1_00-2010-08-23T15-30-11-40.zip http://www.dovalmoexp.nl/Elemental1_00-2010-08-23T15-42-58-68.zip
My fault, I forgot to set the report aside. I haven't been able to reproduce it after a complete reinstall. It looks like a clean reinstall did solve several glitches I had.
When you get attacked by two armies at the same time all kind of weird things happen. - The game tries to resolve the battles at the same time. So you get two battle start dialogs, followed by two separate battles; - Sometimes the armies get split up or moved to another tile. So the first battle your complete army fights, but the second battle, only one unit of the army has to fight. After the battle the remaining units are on a different tile; - When two armies attack
A few things I noticed: When I save the game and the map is zoomed out (cloth map) the cloth map disappeared and a zoomed out regular graphic appear. Sometimes NPC's are invisible on the map even when my army is right next to them. The mouse cursor however does change when moved over the spot where the NPC should be and by clicking the NPC can even be selected. This happens with all types of NPC's: bandits, heroes and enemy armies. I'm still trying to figure out when/
Can you please follow this link in Internet Explorer: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/enumerate_startup.bat save the file, run it, and attach the log file (named startup.log) it generates on the desktop to a return e-mail? Can you also please go to Start->Run(or Start Search in Vista) and type 'dxdiag' and hit enter. Once everything loads, please click the "Save all information" button and attach the output file (called DxDiag.txt) in an email to:
Great idea RickJP The download from the StarDock Mycolors site does work fine :-) Looks like there is something wrong with the version downloaded through Impulse and MyColors.
Just to be complete: wblind.dll 4.6.5.0 ThemeMgr.exe 2.5.0.0 wbload.exe 4.6.2.0 All to be found in the MyColors folder.
No trial of WindowsBlinds is installed. Updated the nvidia video drivers from version 177.83 to 178.24. But still garbage when trying to use the diamond theme. The Think Green theme (also a nice theme) works fine.
I tried to install the Diamond theme today, but I have the same problem. The toolbars and window frames are garbage. I tried uninstall/install through MyColors. I tried uninstall/install through Impulse. All have the same problem.
