http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/who_caused_the_economic_crisis.html Haven't had a chance to watch said video as I am at work but will do so later, but it likely has a lot of the things in the article i just linked. Its a interesting read, they pretty much lay out all the people who bare the blame and there ultimate conlusion was that BOTH sides had a lot go wrong. Theres a whole lot of screw ups in washington in general repsonsible for this. Its times like these the parl

"The question then becomes why? WHy are the Obamabots doing it, but not the McCainiacs? Unless Obama is incredibly stupid, you will never find a paper trail back to him. But you will find a scent. They do not take orders, but they take hints." Sooo. your not saying here that it leads to Obama. Really? Then your defintion of scent being used that way is not a trail leading to him? So by scent you meant Obama had no involvement whatsoever.
Nope, but couldn't it be people acting of their own accord. The question then becomes why? WHy are the Obamabots doing it, but not the McCainiacs? Unless Obama is incredibly stupid, you will never find a paper trail back to him. But you will find a scent. They do not take orders, but they take hints. In another post you said leave it to a democrat to blame the gun maker not the shooter for someone getting shot. Well look what you j
I'd like to offer the other side of the argument: he's showing a responsibility to his CURRENT elected office by being there for the Congressional Sessions. The Debate can easily be moved to DC where the Sessions are being held, it's not the other way. A more important question is why does Obama feel it's ok to miss out on such important sessions? What else would he be willing to miss out as the President because it didn't fit his politic
Nowhere in joining the Obama Action Wire does it tell you to go crash websites and harass people. WHat I do find surprising is that some liberals think their candidate is so stupid! Do youreally think the Obama campaign is that stupid? I mean really.
Nope, but couldn't it be people acting of their own accord. It must have been sanctioned by Obama! That dastardly rapscallion and his law breaking
Wow, I think he just shot himself in the foot big time. I understand that he was getting desperate but...this is really impressive. I know what he was aiming for here, which was to show he was going to put America before politics but his execution couldn't be worse. This ones probablly going to blow up in his face. I could be wrong and this somehow win him votes but I seriously doubt it. I suppose if it does everyone will be talking about how bril
I really don't think conservatives tend to be more sucessful in the real world, I think the wealthy generally become Republicans because Republicans are more interested in keeping more money in the hands of the wealthy. There's been lots of studies on this. No, most people don't change their life philosophies simply because their economic situation has changed. I would argue that the conservative philosophy leads to more success than liberal philosophy.
Very well Dr. guy if you are expert on economics please explain it. I will comment on your teaching to finsh rich investors comment. Actually many Americans invest and own stock, I once saw a statistic that put it close to half of Americans having stock. If thats the case than the majority of investors make below $250,000 a year and extra money to them would very likely be invested. I don't think there would be much of a difference on this front. Just a change in
If this twerp who hyjacked Sarah Palin's private e-mail account, were hyjacking one of the Dems accounts! OMG all hell would have broken loose. He'd already be in custody! I hope he gets some jail time, and isn't given just a slap on the hand because his daddy has some power. It was really a low thing to do!
You know to turn this around on you if Sarah Palin had of been a democrat with a 17 year old p
Nowhere in joining the Obama Action Wire does it tell you to go crash websites and harass people. Its more to report smears of the canidate. They don't tell you to go and overload websites or anything like that. Ive no doubt there are a load of people doing that but you can't really blame the Obama campaign for that. Theres a load of people on 4 chan that do that sort of things for nyuks anyway, i'd suspect they are the ones behind it. Oh and look Sarah Palin's emails w
The melt down on wall street is exactly what happens when you have a Republican and a Republican congress Good thing we DONT have that, right? Instead (like the S&L meltdown) we have a Democrat congress - again! There is a reason the meltdown waited until Pelosi and Reid were in charge - they caused it!
Actually this has been in the works for years its hardly the Democrats at fault here and its not all the Republicans. And
Ok I'm here to give an arguement as to why Democrat economics are better for everybody. Its a very simple arguement really but very few democrats make it, I don't know why. Most democrats will use the "its for the greater good" arguement. That doesn't fly with the wealthy. They don't care about whats good for everyone, they just see their money going away. The basic term people us is that Democratic economics is from the "bottom up". Democrats focus on giving the lower,
I would argue paying your taxes is an act of patriotism. Patriotism is the act of serving the interests of the state above your own. Paying taxes benefits the state more than it does you. Ergo paying taxes is patriotic. Patriotism has nothing to do with serving the STATE. It has to do with serving your COUNTRY. By that definition, the founding fathers, who rebelled against the STATE were not patriotic at all even as they said they were fighting for their
And here to make my point are Obama and Biden. http://rachellucas.com/index.php/2008/09/17/youre-decent-but-just-confused-and-stupid/ Obama (recently): The one thing that I want to insist on is that, as I travel around the country, the American people are a decent people. Now they get confused sometimes. You know, they listen to the wrong talk radio shows or watch the wrong TV networks, um, but they’re, they’re basically
MasonMcomment 17Everyone believe's they're right and anyone who thinks differently is wrong. Hell, some poeple actually believe that anyone who isn't rich is stupid, lazy, or both. Elitism is everywhere and for the most part it just demonstrates ego as opposed to reality. Some political philosophies are more prone to elitism than others.
Its easy for a liberal to say all conservatives are bible toting, ignorant, self
I suppose I should of noted I'm not saying Obama doesn't have any qualifications, as i think he does I just wanted to introduce a new way of thinking since i didn't see anyone saying anything on that front. I'm interested to hear other's opnions on it.
I noticed everyone here keeps saying Obama's never accomplished anything of note and no ones really put anything he has done up here so i'll list a few bills he took part in during his time in the Senate: * First legislation, the HOPE Act, which increased Pell Grants to $5100, and later joined Senator Kennedy on the Higher Education legislation that passed July 20, by a vote of 78-18. That legislation also included funding for Predominantly Black Colleges to assist
