i don't think its the game's internal clock at all, and there are plenty of ways to create time lags in networks. I wouldn't be surprised at all if there are a few hacker's who are screwing with the game and its network infrastructure using it to their advantage. What annoying lil pieces of shit.

Does Murdoch have enough money to buy of the infallible police, to hire a hit on a guy that is a serious threat to him? Yes. He is guilty by circumstance. Given his reputation and career, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he was behind it. But hes got enough cash to hide any evidence that turns up as well. I noticed this as well, this is a bug, and I for one hate it. Everything else about the game seems to be going faster as well. I can't even retreat my halcyon the moment an enemy force enters the grav well before it dies. I have always been able to do this...and now its all screwed up. I would think that a new low tier research technology that would enhance crystal production, or tweak it so that advent upgrades for crystal are more effective then any other race. I would give advent earlier and more effective healing capability, and perhaps a small economic tweak to give advent SOME economic advantage in the early game....maybe a research that gives them better crystal production then other races, since TEC is great at getting creds, vasari never seem to run out of metal (usually) and everyone currently needs crystal. Here is an easy idea. Make advanced thrusters for the races and allow them to purchase an upgrade that allows their ships to have a facing command. In this way you can allow for an even tighter set of maneuvers, while still retaining the early game movement penalties. In the late game things get more intense, and having to deal with a player that can move very precisely would be another addition to the micro in large battles.
