Mafia Wars... in PC Gaming Sins Forums

A freind got me into the whole mafia wars on face book. Anyone know any good strats for this game? I have a small mafia (13) and I keep gettting attacked. I figure I ever need to get my mafia count up or get my members stronger. I heard you can equip your team but I don';t know how to do that. I don't even know how to equip my own guy.

This is really just about control. The one trying to scare us is obama. Scare us into buying into all his crap. I think it may have been done already, but to qoute Benjamin Franklin, "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety". To psychoak, I think you have something there. If american life style were to change and we kept health care as it is now, it would be a lot better.

Halo 2: The SMG, what a peice of junk almost useless by it self. Halo 3: Assult Rifle still acts like an SMG. (played some halo for the first time in nearly 6 months) Overlord: Minions act so stupid at times Half Life 2: AI is pretty dumb. Quake Wars: that stupid map energy cores that blow up the strogg ship Crysis: The level inside the alien ship Thats about all I can think of up the top my head.

I am pretty much done with this thread (nothing left to add). Star Trek ships are much more powerful then covenaut. That much I am sure of. 2 to 1 star trek wins. 3 to 1 sims like an even fight, 4 to 1 now trek has some problems. Now this is just assuming a strait up fight with no warp shooting or anything else (such as halos or blowing up stars) Shooting from warp, I agree 2500 ships that can't do anything back.

I still wonder how many ships the federation has. In the large battle in DS9 (sacrifice of angles episode) the federation had to full fleets for a total of 600 ships. If we can found out how much of the federation navy (ie 1/3, 1/4,.,,,,ect) we can find out just how many ships they really have. I convenant fleet accord to halopedia is about a 100 ships. The larget fleets are really combined fleets,

I was just using the adaptive shield and dps as an example.....having the two come togather would be part of the counter messures upgrade. But you will have to make sacrifices do you want the counter messures level 2 upgrade or do you want your kol ot have lower cool down times for its flak burst.

The vasari is okay, the tec sucks and the advent is good. The advents ability to push away strike craft is something thats best not to over look.

Have you played the older overlord game? Demo aside if you did not care for the old one i don't think you would like the new one. And vise versa. What got me into overlord was it was a like a dark twist to pikmin (and pikmin was a fun game).

I guess something like that would work. Tec use missles and vasari use phase missles, the adaptive shield would work well agaist advent. Of course like anything there needs to be a balance. I do like your idea of researching to make the current ablities better. I would like some research that improves a capitals ability to survive. Maybe a PDS/counter measure system. Put it up high enough in the trees it does not kill the game early but helps caps survive the focus fire fleets later on. This system can shoot down missles from lrms and come how counter the illum beams by forcing them to target dummies. It would not be a perfect system, over all it

Thats why I stayed away from the expansion. I heard about all the junk you had to go thru to play it legally. They also made a spin off for the Wii. My bro got that one.
