It was just a thought Sorry for the accusations, I've played with Helioforge's mines for a while, and thought you were trying to steal his thunder! I don't intend to be an ash sole :), if I were, I would have snuck his mines away from him long ago, but that's not me! I have on many occasions helped him with his mines, and he got me interested in the idea when I helped him with the original conversion of his mine-mesh! so an ash sole I deny, and a leach I'm not,

Helioforge, you are right, ShadowMastiff can legitimately claim he has mines, even though they are depth charges, simply by using a different definition!

Last year's was so much better, with the Bulldozer tossing chairs up into the air whenever he doubled up! A quick way to ruin the legitimacy of both mods is to toss up a third MINE-MOD, with alternate graphics. There was this nice piece of debris that always looked somewhat like a mine in disguise.

If it's a capital ship, it gets its name from the string file capital ship list specific to that race, but you have to do some tricky stuff to get the "Capital Names", otherwise, just put in an extra string file entry to handle it (the easy part)

Everybody wins! They even tell us how to mod starbases in 'nilla soase -Use a capital ship that looks like a starbase -Apply or remove buff to self, switching weapons and engines -pack it with weapons!

Helioforge, if you put your focus on making the generator and I focused on making ships, releasing a ton of mesh-packs, then it gets tested and Soase gets it's ships more quickly. This seems to be most efficient way to go. [e digicons]:borg:[/e] (resistance is futile)
