[quote] When Mr. Bush and the republicans wanted to drill for oil to reduce gas prices we were all told that it was a ploy because Mr. Bush was in bed with “Evil” oil. The environmental lobby put a stop to that. The environmental lobby demanded we use bio-fuels in order to save the planet, and reduce the fuel price. You guys need to wake up! Do we hear the oil companies complaining about offshore drilling or any other place to drill for oil? No, because they have approximately 50 to 60 million acres of leased federal land including offshore with oil deposits, in which they have not drilled a single well. Even if the oil companies were given 30 to 40 million more acres of offshore land, who’s to say they would drill a single well and who would make them if they didn’t? you guys should be ashamed of yourselv

Sorry I am not that much a slave to the ideology I would rather pick the best person from the choices we have than the one that will make it easier for us. Remember during those four or eight years we will still be under attack from terroris

Good! I see that you , little-whip and the rest, have done your homework. Now, since you have listed your reasons why “poor whites vote republican,” perhaps, we can have a reasonable and sensible conversation without hurling insults toward one another. Correct me if I’m wrong, your reason for voting republican is based on the following: taxes and welfare. Now, let us debate these issues separately and hopefully we may find some common ground. As for me, I have never met a person who di
