I think the eeePC only does auto screen panning for 800x600. You sure there is no way to force a lower res?

Hey. I want to play the Political Machine on my new EeePC, but the game requires a resolution of 1024x768 at the least. Any workarounds to get it running at 800x480 or 800x600?
