Ya know, just a long shot but could it have anything to do with the auto-save? The mini-dump that I got was sent to temporary files, and if I am not mistaken, would that be where Auto-save goes as well? I'm personally not computer literate when it comes to that sort of stuff... but, figured maybe it would be helpeful. :x
