sudden crash to desktop after end turn windows 7 64bits
RPMF
I am having the same issue, but I noticed one thing, it seams that the game is waiting for some unit to move but the unit for some reason can't move. If i disband the unit the next turn button is available again. It happened to me sometimes when i enter another faction territory and chose to 'retreat in peace', if the unit can't move the game it's stuck ... When the unit is the sovereign its game over ....
very nice idea :)
Started a new game, and the name of the sovereign was ... [e digicons]:D[/e]
Thanks Mandelik Were scouts gone also in the previous upgrade ? If they were maybe this was th
I was having some issues with scouts that could n't leave city/ kingdom borders, but after the last patch, Scout's are gone from the Game I only have soldier as unit's. I already un-installed the game 3 times , deleted all files related to elemental that I could find, and still no Scouts .... <d
I have done an uninstall (via impulse), and after the new update I only have soldiers as units. Also in the design unit section a strange graphic problem occours, like there is some swepping on the screen and like you have a 'mad' clock with the pointers going arround very fast. I have windows 7 pro 64bits, were can I find the debug.err ? how can I do a total uninstall ? found debug.err http:
Roads: Maybe you could research some "settler" or "explorer" unit, after that you could train that unit, and this type of unit's could be a pre-requisite to trails. <span style="font-fami
I have noticed that the scout is an old unit design. but there is no other scout unit available... I have a "soldier" unit and a "scout1" unit available.
have the same problem
Beta 1B. Scouts can't leave city borders, the only way I could make them leave was to group scouts with other units (soldiers or sovereign) and move the sovereign or soldier out of city limits, after that scout was free to walk arround
Blah. I really don't want to upgrade my XP64 machine. For as unsupported as people say XP64 is, I've had nothing but trouble trying to get Vista or Win7 to work with my games Is there any value to Stardock in having bug reports from XP64 or should I hold off on giving debug dumps on bugs I encounter until I coax Vista/7 into cooperation?
It's a valid question, should players with XP-64 continue to
It would be nice if scouts with proper training could: - have a greater line of sight - have the ability to determine enemy movement, that is if close enough it could show were enemy army is going - have the ability to show the type of units in the enemy army - have spying abilities, that is able to infiltrate enemy army to give detailed info, like type of units, experience, number, etc... - have the ability to detect and kill or expel enemy infiltrated
The same problem CDT without any error message, after the latest patch only ... didn't find any .dmp file either ...
I have the same issue. Connected to everyone then," match maquing service failed" or even worst a CDT without any info ...
you'll likely find that in Demigod upstream will be a similar value to downstream; you send data to as many computers as you receive data from.
yes , I also believe that. But how much data is necessary ? Like, if I have a 380kbps upstream, can I play a 5v5 game well ? or only a 3v3 ? The intention is to be aware of the game bandwidth needs for the several scenarios, If a user as a 128k o
How much bandwidth is necessary to play online Demigod games ? Considering that typically upstream (upload) bandwidth is lower that downstream (download), to play what type of upstream do we need ? to: 1v1 game = ?? 2v2 game = ?? 3v3 game = ?? 4v4 game = ?? 5v5 game = ?? The amount of data is significantly different as the number of players increase in a game, so knowing this maybe could help people to try to get the correct type of ga
Hmmm, what you are saying is that the program works as a "server" in the PC? that is it opens a number of ports, and the "site" tries to connect to the opened ports ? In any case, if it fails check the Windows firewall, for a program to open ports as a "server" usually need some type of authorisation to do that.
A Port is only "open" if and when an application is using it. You probably need Demigod "loaded" to check the ports .... and if Demigod only opens the ports in multiplayer (don't really know) when needed it's going to be hard to test. But instead you can check the log's of your firewall/router to see incoming connections.
yes it can, I am playing with 1900x1080, it all depends on your video card and monitor ...
you got a point. but at least I would like to have a "normal" level were everyone would be at the same level. my point is that we should have something in the middle of today's "normal" and "hard".
I have been playing some single player tournements, in "normal" they are to easy because your team has better specs. In Hard is dificult, because your team has worst specs, and your team AI demigods are allways dying, I saw Sedna (enemy) been attaced by Rook and UB, and she was able to kill both .... My sugestion is make all AI Demigods have the same specs, that is all at the same level, just the "human" Demigod will have better or worst specs, depending on the case.
I have the same issue. the only thing I noticed was an error message in the XP64 logs Event Type: Error Event Source: Windows Search Service Event Category: Gatherer Event ID: 3083 Date: 28-04-2009 Time: 00:40:52 User: N/A Computer: BEAST
Thanks i will try to adjust the timeouts
Is there a way of pausing a single player game ? even when I open the game menu, I can see them fighting on the background.
