Bump. This issue still hasn't been resolved.

I'm using the 3870 OC edition card and when the game goes to menu it freezes the game and displays the "VPU Recover" dialog box/error. I resolved this by disabling VPU Recover through ATI CCC but now when I restart my computer and go to the game it freezes and the screen goes black and I get an error ati2vag is stuck in an infinite loop with the blue screen. This is the first time I ever had a problem with my graphics card and any game. How can I fix this so I can play? I don't have this issue
