LOL That's what I had to tell myself. It was one of those rare occurrences, like New Hampshire in this past Democratic Primary

First off, I am going to preface this by saying that I have my autosaves set to each turn. Has anyone else had problems with things rearranging when you return to your autosaves? I've had a few crashes (on separate campaigns), and when I've went back, things are a bit different. For instance, last night I crashed around Week 37 (I had a commanding lead at this point.) When I returned to my game, it went to the same week I was on, however, Texas was suddenly pink a
If you did a Primaries Expansion Pack, you could include debates, no? I would definitely shell out another $20 for that!
Meanwhile, I've played this game both sober and slightly inebriated (Wine), and I have to say it is above and beyond Political Machine 2004, and that was a pretty damn good game in itself.
I agree, this is something that definitely needs looking into. It's almost not worth it to play custom, and that was a big draw towards this game.
Hmm, I thought that might be it, but I had a person who said he wanted to join- wondering why he didn't when I created it- if that is really what is going on. I know this might be a bit much to ask, but maybe one of Stardock's finest could write up a brief Multiplayer "How-To" for us less brilliant chaps here. I've read the manual and still have no luck.
I agree, it is much more difficult to win with a custom candidate. With mine, I basically, went the "Obama" method and gave her a golden tongue. Then we did endless speech tours across the nation. Beat Grant with 380 EV
Actually, now that Impulse is launched and there will be less problems, I'd be fine with paying $15-$19 for a primaries expansion pack for 2008. After all, that's the election that everyone really cared about I.M.O. :-)
Actually, I was having a similar problem, and I don't use a router. I'm not behind a firewall either. When I go to play multiplayer, I can see other people in the chat and even communicate with them. However, when I create my game and click ready, the program freezes (music continues without glitches, it just sits at the candidate selection screen). From conversations in the room last night, I know I am not the only one with this problem. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Sweet bobblehead glory!!!!!! I'm in and I'm gone! Thanks Stardock!
Nevermind, reinstalled impulse and I'm in!
sigh... my account is still expired :-(
Thank you! Appreciate the reply ;-)
I'm in the account expired boat, too. Even tried creating a new account- same message. Guess we just sit, wait, and e-mail.
Yea, I know they're busy, but a 7-10 word update would be really nice :-)
They announced around June 6 that the game went gold. I'm holding out hope!
So just curious, does everyone that's preordered already have their serials? I have my order number and purchase time, but that's all I was given.
