Cool, Fraps works pretty well. Only 30 seconds in trial mode, but the quality is nice. It did degrade system performance, but I'm assuming I can tweak a thing or two for that, and it will probably reduce the file size. 719mb for a 30-second clip seems quite ... large. I have a Core2duo , 4 Gigs of RAM on Vista 64, and 8800GTX 768 video. What are the 2 or 3 most important game settings and Fraps settings to tweak to achieve optimal file size and game pe

I was kidding
I know, so was I [e digicons][/e] But I'll link you to one I made using the described method: http://blip.tv/file/1187038 (Sure, it's not game footage, but it's still made using your method)
Honestly, I'm OK with him doing that much damage. I like the idea of taking down two or more enemy demigods in a handful of seconds - it makes you plan different strategies. In this beta release, I don't seem to have the crossbow guy, but I've found him to be very effective against unclean. He can lay several damaging mines, plus scatter a few anti-demigod mines for his retreat. Rook is very effective against him, too - he can stun him with a bowling ball, then hamme

I am completely into dual monitor support for this game - I hope the developers put it in. I loved dual monitors in SupCom as well, and when I'm playing this one, my only hope is that I don't accidentally pop the cursor in the other monitor and click at a bad time. A minimap would be awesome - that would allow me to stay zoomed in on my main monitor and focused on my demigod if I'm an assasin. For a general, being able to use it as a tactical screen while controlling str

"Six ... no, Seven! Smites in a row, awe-smite!!"
Hi, I tried the Search feature which didn't turn up any posts, and I tried ctrl-f. What's the best software to record Demigod videos for posting online?
I played Unclean, stacked him with items that pump damage per hit and hit rate. I was tackling the smallest 3 foe with single hits. When I got to the citadel and hit my frenzy, it only took 5.1 hits (well, 6 hits) to kill it. I wasn't efficiently stacked. I'm sure I could do it in 4 hits.

You aren't supposed to gain value from it - the game maker is supposed to retain value of the product. The idea is that if it is harder for you to copy the game than
Here's the second unclean video:
Wow, YouTube sure downscales the resolution of the video I upload. I can only upload 10 minutes at a time, will post the sequel when it's done uploading. This is a 20 minute victory. <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/84T2sL5zIs
So I'm playing Unclean. I've got level 3 Diseased Claws, and Level 3 Inner Beast. I'm running 30% faster, and I'm slowing down something I would hit. An enemy healer goes running up to me, so I take a swipe at it and hit it for 192. It goes running past me and I swing again, for 212. It keeps running past me rather than stopping to fight me(!), so Unclean takes off after him. Somehow, I'm outrun by this thing. It *should* be slowed down from two hit
Hi, Is it OK for me to post video footage of my gameplay if I've already paid for the game? I did searches on this site for 'nda' and 'disclosure' but it shows no results.
This is a known bug. All of the creeps are constantly recalculating the pathing when they get stuck and as they build up the computer gets slower. The path recalculation eats CPU cycles. If the creep creatures don't get stuck as above, slowdown will not be seen. This can be seen as the Sim Speed on the Score page. As the sim speed drops below zero the game secs become slower than real world seconds.
Yeah, I'v
By the way, I notice that it does bog the computer down when that happens, too. I have a 8800 GTX 768, 4 gigs of RAM on Vista 64, with Intel Core2Duo 6600. Raptor RAID0 boot drive. I don't overclock anything, and it was formatted just a week ago, so it's a clean test bed. When these pathing bugs happen for 2 or 3 generations of critters, my system will bog down. No amount of lowering graphics settings will do it. Also, the later in the game we get, the
>>What kryo didn't say is that our new pathing system is epic, epic win. I don't want to spoil the fun, but it's some of the most fluid and organic looking pathing I've ever seen in a game of this scale. Eric, I'm looking forward to this. Can you tell us when we'll see the new pathing? I'd love to test it out and provide feedback!
Cuz you can see the monitor when I zoom out? :) Or cuz of the shakiness due to handholding? I used to use a 3mp camera sitting on a box on my table to record raids in my EQ guild and that was pretty amazing looking. This is a camera that records in higher resolution than my monitor is capable of showing it, though, so it's even better looking. I should put it on a tripod or something for recording, but this was kinda mid-game and I didn't want to fumble with it.
I used the only method that I know of which can record in real-time, without causing fps loss or skipped frames. I recorded it handheld with my camera. Does it look OK?
I've been playing RTS games since they existed. I created my first home-based network solely to play RTS games when they came out in the early 1990s (Dune II, Warcraft, Command and Conquer, etc.). I am seeing a bug repeated here that has existed in many RTS games I've played - a pathing issue where critters can't find a correct path, and so get stuck on each other, terrain, or graphics which they mistake for terrain. I also notice the train-track syndrome a lot (where a bu
Wow - shades of Dungeons and Dragons circa 1980 ... do you Resist a heal cast on you? The rules didn't specify. Apparently these didn't either :) Can't wait for the fix. Thanks for the info!
Description of the bug I have drunk several potions with my character and have gained the hit points from them. But after a while, I'm not gaining hit points at all. I tried drinking 3 small and 3 large hit point potions, the timer completes, but I'm not gaining hit points.
