Spore Creature Creator in PC Gaming Stardock Forums

A while back I download the spore creature creator form EA and It was working fine for months. But now when ever I try to play the game it crashes at either the EA logo or sometimes the Maxis logo. I've tryed reinstalling it and starting it directly from th EA download manager, but neither made a difference. Any help would be much appreciated.

Coh: Opposing Fronts in PC Gaming Stardock Forums

I've recently downloaded CoH: Opposing Fronts from steam, and I already own CoH on disk. The download went fine and I unlock the new campain levels in CoH with the code that came with CoH: Opposing Fronts through steam. But when ever I try to play them, it says I dont have the data required to play the campains installed. Although I can play the new armies in multiplayer. And I've tryed play just the expansion, but when ever I try to open the game nothing happens. If anyone

The geek squad people said that dell computers ( I have a dell xps ) have something in their bios that prevents thrid party graphics cards from working with their machinges, so you have to buy cards through dell. Is this true, or was that geek squad person crazy?

Thanks, I'm taking my computer in to Geek Squad and see if they can get the card working properly, because I've tried everything I no to do. And for the Directz 10 thing, I'm looking forward to many of the games, so I'll probably update some time this year. :D

No, I didn't install Directx 10 for xp (although I did find a leaded alph version), but running directx 9 on a 4870 wouldn't screw it up would it ? Also, do you think the difference between Directx 9 and 10 is substantial enough to drop 200 $ for vista ?

Ok, so I just got my new radeon HD4870, and after I installed it an error started to pop up evey time I turned on my computer. The error reads - Error loading C:/WINDOWS/system32/usaqxjtv.dll The specified module coul not be found.

Should I start playing WOW again? in Gaming Stardock Forums

I have WOW and the Burning Crusade expansion, but i haven't had a subscriptoin in a long time. Althouth recentaly a few of my freinds started to play again, and ive been pondering rather to renew my subscription too. I would be starting a new character and i would have to grind a while to get to the level my friends are at, but i have quite a bit of free time on my hands. I have a wii and 360 but asuming i didn't, i would definitely buy a wii. Unlike the other current consoles the wii offers something that my pc can't fun, casual, motion controled games (a mouse doesn't count as motion control) :LOL: . And i'm not saying thats all the the wii has, it also has hardcore games such as Metroid Prime 3, No More Heros, and Twilight Princes.

I totally agree with you about the aiming on consoles (other than wii). And ever since i've converted almost entirely to PC gaming, every time I play a FPS on consoles i wish it was on PC . Thats also exactly how i felt on this game after i played the 360 demo . I will not be buying this game on consoles, but if it ever gets ported to PC, i will definitely pick it up. :D
