Just a few points: - The problem with replays in the beta was that they were bugged so they would often freeze partway in the game or would desync from the original. - Replays were playable, however - Poita's "mod" (it was really more of a separate tool) just made it so that double-clicking a Demigod replay from Windows Explorer would automatically launch it in Demigod. - The actual ability to play replays was already in Demigod; it was a more basic version of Su

You would need to use fraps. Replays in Demigod are, like in most RTS games, just a list of commands that the players made.
i need to know if i have to download impulse to play the game once i buy it.
Nope, you will not need to download Impulse (unless you bought the digital version of Demigod, in which case I think you probably will :P)

1) You can set single player skirmishes to be anywhere from 1v1 to 5v5. 2) It is pretty easy to get used to, so I would say "yes." 3) Sort of. Imagine a series of skirmish games in a variety of teams against a variety of opponents, where you use the same Demigod every time. As you play, you win "favor points" that can be used to help your Demigod ascend.

We haven't gotten much info on clans yet, as far as I know. They'll probably just be like most other RTS games - you get a little page with a memberlist & description for your clan and an acronym in front of your name. Clans will probably just be used for friends who play together.

1) I don't remember being promised a July beta. I remember being promised a summer beta, which we just barely got (but definitely did get), and I remember the release date being pushed back so we ultimately got the beta for the same amount of time anyway. 2) No, not full price for a game that does not work. Full price for a beta that does not work. Do I need to say that again? Beta. In case you didn't realize this, the fact that it is a beta

Weren't we promised a year of free updates? I suppose it really depends on how well Demigod sells.

Looks great [e digicons][/e] If items are submitted by users, I'm sure there will be plenty of crazy item names. Some of the vanilla items do need to keep their originality too though [e digicons][/e] . It was pretty disappointing when the Demigod AI names went from funny random stuff to standard fantasy names.
Wait a second I paid money for Demigod, when did this happen?
They didn't get it for free. They paid for it like everyone else, only it was so long ago that they barely remember paying so it feels like getting it for free.

I think GPG/SD want to spend as much time as possible polishing the game before release rather than producing demos.

I'm am 99% sure that we will get new favor items at release; there are supposed to be ridiculously awesome ones eventually, but we don't have them yet. I doubt we will have more than the 8 (?) maps that we've seen in the betas & screenshots until after release though.

I also enjoy playing Demigod [e digicons][/e] . Optimism is so much more fun, to be honest [e digicons]:sun:[/e] .

The wiki that monarch_dodra pointed out is the only one that I know of. It has some information but not a ton. Right now there isn't a lot of info to read, though I do hope to have a stats database at GR once the values stop jumping around so much [e digicons][/e] . Replays have been broken throughout the beta, so you won't find any replays, unfortunately.
