You probably made the same mistakes as I did, by researching too many upgrades that you don't need to beat AI's fleet or economy. Just research the stuff you really need, then build up your fleet first.

The game looks pretty, but I didn't like it when I was playing it on my friend's PC. What's the point of hiding behind of a wall when it's going to be blown apart in couple seconds anyway? The hero units are going to ruin some parts of the game just like WC3 did, you just wait. I am waiting for a DWII Dota, that's for sure.
The world is suffering greatly from this abomination. The truth is coming out to save more gamers. One of the better reviews: Puzzle Quest: Galactrix: How to screw up a perfect formula
This game is messed up An impression about the DS version, but not much different from the PC version. I felt the same way.
Sins of a Solar Empire-I did not like this for many reasons.
Hahaha, irony!!! I will call out an irony when I see one. Sins is awesome man, it's one game that I don't have much problem with. Well I made a thread about this game, I bought it on the day of Entrenchment was released. Puzzle Quest: Galactrix OMG, if you think spore is bad, you don't know bad game.&nb
Hi guys I am getting into the online matches during the spring break season, look forward to learn more about micros. Any good thread about micro skills that I can read on this forum?
My fleet, Kol + LRF + Hoshiko + Carriers got destroyed by Mothership + Defense Vessel + Illum. He balled his fleet up, and I got arrogant, thinking there is no way he can stop me, and I was wrong, yes I was lazy on the micro, but the thing is I should have ownd him, but I lost. I thought you were being stupid, but I believe you, now. Apparently, the game has changed since Sins. What should I do to counter the Illum + Defense Vessel battelball formation(why didn't I f
Super weapon works.
This is path for your replay folds (I just find the info in the forum FAQ thread:) C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\
That was awesome, I learned so much. Expecially on how to expend properly. Thanks.
Umm I don't know man, by the time your enemy began to spam Carriers, especially the TECs, his fleets usually come with a healthy and deadly supplies of LRMs. It's a miracle that you beat him, actually, but 40 LF vs. 15 Carriers sounds fair...I guess, what did you do after the battle?
If you have Entrenchment, just go Starbases and wage culture war. It's always faster than go one fleet and try to kill everything in a larger map. Split as many different fleet as you can as well, you can do it. Q&A 1. Why don't you just put the rally point directly on your fleet or a Capital ship ? 2. Did you create a fleet or just let them follow your fleet leader? The AI will always attack the most dangerous objects first, yes, co
You may not like the game, but you make this sound like some grand conspiracy. It's just a game...
I know I know, but it's kinda cool once you dive it a bit deeper. What I do know is that this is not the same team that developed Challenge of the Warlords, I can say that with confidence, the difference between the two games are night and day. Something is not right, because there is no point for the developer to
The game has great potential, I am going to keep my eye on it. But look before you leap. Infinite Interactive is very good folks. I am sure they will do all that they can to respond to player feedback.
II does not have very good folks. If they are they wouldn't have released this sorry excuse of a game to the market. On top of that, this game is a hoax and this is something most people don't understand: Chall
Wait guy please, I beg you, please don't buy this game, I am begging you. My birth day parties went out of hand during the weekend, but please don't buy this game. I know it's sounds bad, but I call for the power of bit torrent right now for you guys, because they deserve it. The PC version is a port from the DS version, and that's not a joke. It's only prettier because of the voice over and art works, but the "game" is the DS built. This is what we call a Russian Mafi
I got this game through Impulse 2 days ago, I promise a review later 2nit. But for now, I need to warn all forum members that the game is a complete mess, a harsh downgrade in everyway compares to the PQ: Challenge of the Warlords. The game require for the players to enter their opponent's IP address before connect to a online match with no timers restrictions. In other word, there are NO online support. Yes, you can't even have a random online match. Of course there
Find the care bears and kill them all.
Buff Flaks way up but make it a bit more expensive and make them take up a bit more fleet capacity, yet keep them as the same tier as before. In fact, why not just pump them to cruiser class. Then we will have defensive anti air cruiser along side with Heavy Duty and special support cruisers, hey that even sounds good, that's the new holy trinity for the Sinners. While we are on the subject, why are the flaks so boring? Give them some special ability or aura(be
Thanks for the tips. Re-tried a 2vs2 on hard. I played a better early game, but at some point the red guys had made like 50 cobalt frigates and 2 capital ships + 10 javelins so my proud army of 10 LF + Akkan + 3 carriers + 10 LRMs went down pretty quickly. I tried as the guide explained, to make very well defended choke points, but I just don't get time for that. Trade ports, yes, but they're damn expensive ! With 700 credits I can buy alm
don't worry too much about micro your entire fleet at first, when I was learning WC3 I only take care of my heroes first. In this case, just worry about your Caps then the rest skill will come.
sounds awesome!!! I play advent alot, but i never knew how to use that ability. Is there an ability chart or breakout showing what does what?
As is, it's a waste of skill point in an MP game.
Wait, why? A level 10 capital saved is a level 10 capital saved, right?
Akkan can stop everything with it's ulti, that's the kind of divinities that you can't touch with 50+ HC.
I don't know, I personally think siege frigates are the smarter chooice early on because the ship supply count. Extra 50 plus supplies on top of your first cap could cripple your economy before you realize it. And you are much more vulnerable against a smart player who just want to annoy you with couple smaller fleets at a time. Bottom line you don't want to lose a captial ship early on, doesn't matter what the rewards maybe. But that's just me. I am careful.&nbs
Ive seen up to 60 specifically done by phantom1, he runs the gambit on all you planets killing your constructor vesssels, and then moves on...if you are unlucky enough to be using a single campital ship to colonize a heavily guarded planet and he catches you , you can kiss that cap ship goodbye. the initial moeny you are given is enough to build an extra frgate fact, and about 33 scouts...it works, but is lame, and will be an isor with Entrenchm
