Well guys working for a plant that produces meat products ( peppy.... if you eat any of it I am sure we made it here in WI ) I know the HUGE cost ( well not know but know of ) this will be for all the companies involved. Recalls cost millions of dollars just not in product loss, but getting it off the self ect ect. So this is gonna most likely put alot of companies in the hole big time. Add into the factor here that the place where this tarnished product came from might as well close
yeah who cares if the Gov puts us further in debt right? They are after all perfect examples! I'm a firm believer in "do the crime, do the time". The majority of American people voted for Obama, our democratic system works that way, now we shall reap the benefits of our beliefs. If he screws up, we have only ourselves to blame, for those who voted for him will have to live with the same they did and those who didn't will have to live wi
I'm real happy that the color of someone's skin is a non issue for you DG but that is not the world that we live in yet. I'm confused. If Obama's election and inaguration means we are doing better then why do you guys keep referring to most peopels view as racist?
because they have to say "black man" and terms along those lines....you keep racism alive using lables like that
I stayed up til 4am to watch him be inaugurated and I am proud to say that I saw history being made. May I ask where are you located that you were up till 4 AM? I myself was sick so was able to see it live from my house since I took the day off. I am glad you are happy with his inaguration. As a proud American who upholds everything this country was built on, I may not like him as President, but I respect him and will suppor
The fact that the media keep saying he's a "black man" the "first black president"? It is what it is, and it is what is always done. This is where the racism is that Doc Guy is talking about. The constant harping on the fact that he is a "black man" or a "black president". Just because it is what has always been done doesn't make it right and doesn't make it any less racist. Just because they are referring to him as
All are racist and trash King's ideals. Doc, I understnad your sentiment, and what you're saying, but you have to understand, it is not possible to forget that he is a Black man. Yes, we must address him and look at him as a man first, but let's face it, in this country, we all see color first and gender after! It will be baby steps towards reaching the goal of seeing a person first, and then who they are later. You shouldn't condemn

The Dream has gotten twisted over time and when you hear people bark about it.... they have it so messed up that it makes me sick Now I am a white guy, and I even know what the Dream speach is all about... its not what these nuts that cry racism and then tag on MLK to it... thats the furthest thing he wanted. She just lost her job and financially isn't doing very well but couldn't resist driving across the country to watch this live even though she admitted she probably wouldn't really be seeing a thing because she'll be way too far back.
Its up to the states... you start letting the Feds do what they see fit.... its a slippery slop Don't get me wrong, I understand that. But when Bush, or anyone in the administration, turned on the TV after Katrina and saw the situation there they should have initiated phone calls to the state and offered help. If they couldn't get thru they should have found a way to communicate with the state. That being
I am certainly no fan of Bush but history will be much kinder to him than the current media is. Afterall Ford was villified for pardoning Nixon when he did it, but today it is seen as an action that was necessary for the betterment of the nation. For one thing in 10-20 years the intelligence that Bush had access to during his administration will become declassified and that will shed lot of light on his decisions. Perhaps
