Reply to Crackling sound (mostly when zoomed out) in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

I've got a similar problem, but it doesn't occur in-game. whenever I move my mouse in the start menu I get a crackling sound. I've fiddled with all of the sound options, and nothing seems to help. My audio drivers are up to date. I imagine it'd be a whole lot more annoying if it happened while playing. I'm using a Creative X-Fi Extreme Fatal1ty Platinum.
