Disappearing Vasari Weapon Effects in Technical Sins Forums

Hey guys, I'm absolutely loving the game so far, but I'm having an odd problem whenever I play as the Vasari. Generally about 30 minutes into the game, all of the weapon effects on my ships will disappear. They will sit there, and make the sounds like they are firing, and the enemies will take damage, but no bullet or torpedo effects will appear on the screen.
