it's hard to say weather the present way to win is good or bad. But that said, there should be a game play mode where you win when you destroy the other homeworlds.
well, i guess people will have to be nice to the host in a ffa and not double team rush from both sides and send the pirates in like the last 6 ffa i did. lol
oh well that makes sense, that's how most rts games do it.
so i like to host alot of the time when i play. Haven't had any trouble doing so, but i'm being told now that if the host leaves everyone gets booted? I want to know if that's for real or not. If it is, i think it's completely rediculous and makes no sense. I can't even think of the last rts game where that was the case. I understand ai not taking over and what not. But if i host a 6 player ffa and end up getting killed at some point, i'm not looking to hang around till everyone is done pl
this could be that i'm just missing something. But i find it frustrating when dealing with squad leaders. Alot of time i will select a group of ships and want to make the capital ship the leader, but if the cap ship isn't the highlight ship, it will make a low end unit leader. The only way i know to get a round that is to select the cap ship, then shift select the rest so the cap is the highlighted ship. It just feels way to clumsy to me, but like i said maybe i'm missing something.
you don't even present a valid arguement as to why you don't like the game.
i know you can research something that slows them down as they go to jump out of your space. Other then that im' not sure.
so i was playing single player last night, and i played for about 3+ hours without any sound during fighting. The music played, and the build sounds were working, but i didn't hear any voices, warnings, or explosions\weapons firing. I kept thinking that there were sounds for these cause i had heard them before. I hit escape, went to sound, hit restore, save, and then exited that menu and went back into game. And the sounds came on. So basically, i had never gone into sound options b
