Washington DC is in the game, I clicked it by accident once, but never saw it again, anyone know where in between virginia and maryland but I never see it

No wrong, but understandable mistake. I'm heavily into politics and can name every president since 1900 and tell you about him. West Virginia has always been a democratic state. I liked Bush and he was the first Republican in a while to win West Virginia since Dwight Eisenhower if I am not mistaken which I could be because I'm going of pure electoral memeory here. Bush was able to get West Virginians who have always voted for democrats because of the economy to vote for a re

I'm going to go out on a limb here, now that election tempers have cooled down. As a conservative I think we as must do what we do best and look at ourselves critically? Bad canadiates Well firstly, the only good candidate we had in the primaries was Huckabee and he lost because we never cared enough to campaign hard enough. McCain campaigned out of his car with 3 supporters, Huckabee had all the right charateristics but not the drive, he never rally wanted it bad

While I disagree with your economic analysis, I do think it funny that free market republicans like bush give every subsidy in the world possible to farmers and no one gets mad. LOl farmers dont even pay taxes.

Well it was Bill Clinton who when leaving office set the path for sub prime mortgages in 1999, however, Bush and the 'free market Republicans' pushed for it far more than Clinton ever did.

See I have problem with liberals like you who try to paint republican polciy as bad. The truth is this, you can cut spending and cut taxes, or raise spending and raise taxes, it makes no difference from an economic view. The problem really is this, running on a platform that says I will cut of your kids subsidize daycare, or medicine, or farm equipment isn't really something thats going to get you elected. This is why Republicans ie. Bush and Reagan who run on conservative p

As a conservative, I am starting to question myself the economics of conservatives, cut taxes and cut spending. You see rich people do get poor, ask anyone who ever won the lottery, 90% file for bankruptcy in 7 years or less, think of basketball players, think of anyone who basically makes a large sum of money whether it be a lucky investor who took a dumb risk and got rich by fluke and tries it again and goes broke (Basically what happened to all these banks why the

O come now, you are being unfair to Obama, the guy got into Harvard and was at the top of his class so thats gotta be worth something. Look Republicans and Democats nominate differen candidate types. Republicans nominate old guys who been in Washington forever democrats nominate young people who can make changes otherwise they lose. We conservatives must be truthful to ourself and not get tricked into towing the party line. The media has not been "in the tank"

If it is a Barack Obama vs Palin matchup Palin looses every time to Baracks experience. Yes Barack is a one term jr. senator, but he has been a sentor longer than Palin has been governor. Obama deals with national budget and national issues, Palin deals with one of the smallest states issues. Plus Obama was in the illinois legistor for 8 years so he has 11 years of senatorial experience vs Palin Governor and mayorial experience. Gov and senator or about the same but st

I am a conservative who was on the fence, slighty for obama, but the sarah palin pick made me run from McCain. 1)See my big problem with Palin is that her daughter had a baby out of wedlock at 17 year old. I know if Obama had that going on he would be teared to shreds by the media. The other thing is that she seems to be a more of the same liar politician. She seemed to cover up for her daughter, b/c that baby with down syndrome is not hers, its her daughters. She pul

What I am also suggesting is that the two party system appears to be the most natural as even in a multi party system, the country tends to gravitate towards a two party system. Why, because people realize it just isn't in their benefit to have so many parties. As I pointed out, 70% of canda is liberal and there are 3 liberal parties which result in liberal loss. One conservative = conservative win because all the conservatives poor their money and resources into one party,

The best candidate for republicans was mike huckabee followed by romney. Rebuke to the author 1. No reason to believe onl McCain will get respected more than any other candidate. Its clear the world doesn't like Bush and will gladly respect anyone but him. Lets be honest here, we didn't get into this race and gender mess by having black and women lawmakers. We had 43 white presidents, and any problems with race or gender in our society are all their fau

I have tpm and i think the biggest proble with this game is that it simply shows states. If game play is to be improved the states need to be broken up into counties. Anyone who looks at a political map by county sees that democrats never win states, we win cities. Whether its California, New York, Ohio or Texas, democrats simply do not win in rural areas. This should be reflected in the map so that players actually have the ability to win red states and vice versa.&

I don't think the government should interfere with people's life, I like to think of myself asa conservative. But we also have to look at the reality around us and the interdependece of our economy. The fact that we believe in Capitalism means we believe in specialization to reduce cost. This means that when someone -ie oil companies in kahoots with car makers- charge people outrageously high prices for gas and chose to do nothing because they know we can't walk 100 miles to work. It only m
