The corrupted drivers where the nvidia 169.38 beta drivers. I reverted back to the 169.25 and it worked.

Ok sent mail. Hope it's not a vista 64bit problem. Has been the cause of problems with a couple of other games.
I've just re-installed the game, while removing everything concerning SoaSE. But still no luck, the game keeps waiting in limbo.
I've just removed the beta and installed the full game through stardock, but the game won't start up. It does not give any error messages nor does it freeze up. When I open the taskmanager and go to the processes, the SoeSE exe is running in the background using about 25k of memory. End the process is the only thing I can do. Funny thing is that I've been playing the beta without any problems. My rig: Intel Core 2duo Evga E-Gforce 8800GT (latest drivers) 2048MB DDR2 Ram
