Um...okay...here I go. Don't get cranky, I'm just thinking out loud. Obama went to a Muslim school when he was about 5. Okay, so? Big deal. 2) Who care if he IS Muslim? It's a beautiful religion. Check out my article on it that I wrote months ago. https://forums.joeuser.com/314958 3) Whether you voted for him or not, I agree with KFC. Now's the time to start praying for him. It is my fear
Cedarbird
Wow, I HAVE been away. What's up with Little Whip? I'm glad to hear she's doing all right, though.
Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...where do you find these??? Amazing, and the only reason for me coming back anymore. Thanks, man.
(of course, I could vote for a third party as well).
Yes, yes you could. Nader '08!!! www.votenader.org
Humble, too.
"Oh, Lord, it's hard to be humble, When you're perfect in every way!!!"
sanchonino and cedarbird are my heroes! Mormon brother and sister teams get shit done!
Well...we ARE pretty amazing.
I think right wingers think Palin won and left wingers think Biden won.
Well, yeah. No matter which side you're on, you're going to think your candidate won. Nobody is ever willing to say anything bad about their guy. I wonder how Matt Gonzalez would have done against those two? Guess we'll never find out, because third parties aren't allowed. American politics are VERY exclusive.
Sometimes I slip into decades old slang...it's kind of fun to whip it out on unsuspecting people...it's, as one might say, the bees knees.
Also, I knew the first episode was bee-centered...hence the bees knees. Otherwise I might have said "cat's pajamas," or something equally old sounding.
Thanks, I'll be sure to not do that.
Good idea. And by the way. I CAN'T HANDLE ANOTHER FOUR YEARS OF NUCULAR!!!!!!!!!
Don't pussy up. Vote with your conscience. Vote Nader in '08.
at votenader.org, I was watching some videos of him. This is what he said on one of them. "Better to vote for someone you believe in and lose than to vote for someone you don't believe in and win, for that someone will surely betray you." I think that sums it up nicely. I'm throwing away my vote this year, and I'm proud of it
Remind me never to get on your bad side.
Don't get on my bad side.
I agree with you, Zoo. I think Palin started out strong, but about 90 seconds in she starting getting under my skin. By the time an hour went by if I hear another 'doggone it' or 'hockey mom' joke I was going to jump through the screen and wring her skinny neck. Or maybe just mess up her immaculate hair. Honestly, while she answered the questions, she was mostly just relying on her winning smile and charming looks to win that debate. And she failed. <p
1. What is your greatest fear? Spiders. Closely followed by enclosed spaces and going through life alone. 2. What is the most evil thing anyone could ever do? Pretend to love you and betray you. 3. Is there anything you would refuse to do in any circumstances? Deny my religion or lower my moral standards. 4. What are you really good at? Pissing people off, remembering r
Congratulations! That's awesome.
Well, it WAS at six o clock in the morning when we discussed this...oh well. It sounded like a great idea in my head...if it worked. Which it wouldn't, but...it'd be nice to have a couple thousand dollars in my pocket. Oh well, guess it's not solved after all. Meh.
Did you know a giraffe's tongue is 18-20 inches long and bluish black?
Nasty!!!
You been watching too many 20s themed movies?
Um, no...I just talk like I'm eighty. On another topic, I gave blood on Monday! Nine times, lifetime, babeh!
I just want the 300,000. That's all. And in a perfect world, it'd work. Unfortunately, it is NOT a perfect world, so my perfect plan is foiled. Curses!
I was at work today, and remember the part where I work at an ungodly hour of the day? Anyway, I was talking with a coworker about this bailout. He solved the problem, and I'm taking credit for it on this site. :D If the government is so keen on spendign 700 billion dollars, why not divide it up between every. single. taxpaying. citizen. over. eighteen? Divided all out, that's about...oh...300,000 per person in America. However, you have
Tonight is the season premiere of Pushing Daisies. How's that for staying on topic?
Exactly what I meant when I said to stay on topic. Are you going to watch it? That show is the bee's knees!!!!
But we have to stay on topic, remember??? Or the admins will get us....just ask Little Whip.
An eternity that's hopefully interesting...instead of sitting around talking about how awesome God is for the next infinity eons.
No way, man. Eternity is going to be awesome, no harp playing! But that's not the point. I don't want to get into that, because then we'll have fighting on the blog.
There's that religion thing to consider though...aren't you pretty much bound to marry another of your faith?
Pretty much. It's this thing about being together for time and all eternity... ;) I dunno, we're still good friends, and lunch was yummy.
Sorry about the breakup...but it didn't turn into a shitfest, and that's really all you can ask for.
Yeah, it was for a minute, I was pissed, but we had a
The worst part is that it only lasted three weeks...which is the second longest relationship I've had. Who's a loser? ME!
D and I broke up late last night. It ended amicably enough, I mean, we're good friends, perfect for each other, but...it wasn't right. I don't know why, but for some reason we just aren't right for each other. I don't know how to explain it. He's still buying me lunch today, though. Just thought I'd update, thanks! Have a lovely day!
Don't let anyone shame you from your beliefs. I'm not voting for Obama or McCain, but I respect your decision. That's what's so great about being in American to begin with. Thanks for the article. :D
