To address the original exploit,the AI should probably never consider trading away its fleet if its fleet strength will be below a amount relative to current empire strengths, modified by personality. Like, a peacekeeping race wouldnt mind if it traded away some of its fleet that put it at 90% of the known galactic fleet strength average. However warlike dude is probably gunning for 110% of the known race fleet strength. Like if three empires had 100 fleet str

Yeah I checked out the latest stream (now looking forward to the one tomorrow) and things really do seem to be shaping up really nice. Combat looked pretty damn gorgeous, far far better then GalCiv2. Really looking forward to this title!

Diversifying Arcane Weaponry/Armour/Items in Fallen Enchantress Elemental Forums

Hey everyone. I've been with Elemental for quite awhile and I really do love the game. The only thing I wish was that my troops were a bit more varied. I've thought of a few ways of spicing up troop diversification. I would love for arcane weaponry to not be as much as an equal alternative to melee weaponry but rather enchanted weaponry be reserved for your strongest troops. So... Hey-how does creating custom items work? I know earlier I heard it was a bi-less then fun to design a program that allows each and every unit to have a customizable inventory that was represented visually. Is item creation still easy-and can we use pre-existing models? Also-do you imagine in the future people will be able to release 3D "item packs" for modders to use? Thanks!

No ZIP in the folder, however I'm getting a crash right after I click end turn. I declared war-so it processes for a few seconds before just freezing and then I have to kill it. Anyway I can send in the save manually?

[0.95] Bug-Looping counter attack between short spears and candlecloak in FE Beta Elemental Forums

It seems to loop counter attacks, causing my spearman to die whenenver I use the shortspears. Its like there is a counterattack that does no damage whenever the spearguy takes damage, and it just causes a loop until the spearman misses on one of his imaginary "counters. So it goes, spearman attack, take damage from candle cloak, fake counter (doing nothing), take damage from candle cloak, fake counter, take damage from candlecloak... etc. etc. Thought this should be mentioned!

Another [0.95] First Impression in FE Beta Elemental Forums

Hey, just finished up a game. It was a ton of fun! I played on easy since it had been awhile, and started steamrolling since I got the hang of it. Game runs at a pretty good pace, even 300+ turns in. No didn't work, I had to retire that campaign. I was actually on turn 374, I don't know what went wrong but I can't continue. Oh well, hopefully we get a little hotfix version soon. I run W7 64 bit and have 8 gigs of ram, the game runs pretty smooth for the most part so I don't think it's a memory issue.

AHHH! It's like Galciv2 all over again! I can't end my turn, and I was really enjoying this game. Not sure how to upload a save if it's required, but yeah I don't know what happened I just cant end it anymore, around 200 or so turns in I think? The button looks like it has been pressed but I can't do anything to it. :(

Need more expensive magical items that increase magic resistance! Crystal Platemail that negates spells X% of the time or reduces spell damage and duration by X%. A decent dynamic would be Small Elite Troops > Heroes >Hordes of Inexperienced soldiers (The four fireball spam you mention) > Small Elite Troops. Obviously simplified as much as possible.

I would appreciate a very high tech building that cost crystal for upkeep and removed 1 hostile enchantment a turn. Or something to that effect. We have a lot of tools available to us-I do like the "Mages waging war" style of gameplay though. City buffing/debuffing makes me feel all wizardy but it could use some tuning. There needs to be something available so you don't have to rush disenchant. I think spending crystal to get rid of bad enchantments would be a cool low-tech. <b

[.915 Bug] Stacking Burning Blade? in FE Beta Elemental Forums

Hey everyone, the Altar in my game just stacked a ton of burning blade enchantments on himself and got up to 182 added fire damage and would just wipe my armies. Is this an intended feature? I tried to stack but I can only put one on myself.
