Imagine if Stardock became a company that had a hugely successful store to rival that of Valves which allowed you guys to work on whatever projects you wanted. And imagine how much more staff they'd have had to hire. How much more distracted they would get from the things they would prefer to be doing. Which they can do right now instead of in another three to six&nbsp
But the reality is, Impulse had become so successful and so big that in order to take it to the next step we would either have to commit to becoming a very different company than we are today or to find a partner who shared our vision of where we think this whole thing is going and team up. We chose the latter option.
I know right. Imagine if Stardock became a company that had a hugely successful store to rival that of

Based on what I'm reading, I think I have a hunch what's going on. A lot of people think human interface design is something just anyone can do out of high school. Microsoft invests millions in scientific, repetitive, and kind of boring studies into finding out what people consider an intuitive interface

I wouldn't worry too much right now the you can easily beat even a ridiculous AI. On my last game two AI went to war and marched their Sovs into my undefended main city. Yeah undefended sure I teleported back and took them both down. Bam 2 AI down 4 to go. This may be a TBS and a kingdom builder of sorts but that doesn't mean you cans skimp on millitary. Get some research into promoted troops (forgot what it's called) and groups of troops you'll do fine. Galciv used to kick my arse ti

You cannot make a DRM system that will stop piracy without wasting tonnes of cash and royally pissing off all your users. You'd do more damage to yourself than you'd get in return by any magical pirates that decide to buy the game that requires an always

If they don't buy the game they weren't going to buy it even if the game wasn't able to be pirated, they'd go pirate something else.

Partly it's Impulse's fault and partly it isn't. The obvious thing to do would have been to have Entrenchment in it's own little folder with it's own files to play with instead of shoving it together with Vanilla Sins. IronClad needs to look at how Galciv was done with each addon having it's own seperate folder whilst using the vanilla games assets when it needed to.

I've never liked Impulse or the old SDC because at one time or another they horribly cockup. This is one of those cases. I've done a fresh install of Sins + Entrenchment. I archived Sins before installing Entrenchment. Now I can play the game just fine that's not a problem. However I cannot archive Entrenchment (Impulse just sits around doing nothing and right clicking I can cancel some invisible installation). Try to uninstall Entrenchment and I get the same XML error.
