European Honeymoon Bob Hill and his new wife, Betty, were vacationing in Europe, as it happens, near Transylvania. They were driving in a rental car along a rather deserted highway. It was late, and raining very hard. Bob could barely see 10 feet in front of the car. suddenly the car skids out of control! Bob attempts to control the car, but to no avail! The car swerves and smashes into a tree. M

Fine Art A couple attending an art exhibition at the National Gallery were staring at a portrait that had them completely confused. The painting depicted three very black and totally naked men sitting on a bench. Two of the figures had black penises, but the one in the middle had a pink penis. The curator of the gallery realized that they were having trouble interpreting the painting and offered his assessment. He went on for nearly half an hour explaining how it

Visually Challenged Two women were out for a Saturday stroll. One had a Doberman pincher and the other had a Chihuahua. As they sauntered down the street, the one with the Doberman said to her friend, "Let's go over to that bar and get something to drink." The one with the Chihuahua said, "We can't go in there. We've got dogs with us." The one with the Doberman said, "Just follow my lead." They walked over to the bar and the one with the Doberman put on a pair

Good luck, Mr. Gorsky When Apollo Mission Astronaut Neil Armstrong first walked on the moon, he not only gave his famous "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" statement but followed it by several remarks, usual com traffic between him, the other astronauts and Mission Control. Just before he re-entered the lander, however, he made the enigmatic remark "Good luck, Mr. Gorsky." Many people at NASA thought it was a casual remark concerning some rival

High Tech Competition Three men, one German, one Japanese and a Texan were sitting naked in a sauna. Suddenly there was a beeping sound. The German pressed his forearm and the beep stopped. The others looked at him questioningly. "That was my pager, "he said, "I have a microchip under the skin of my arm." A few minutes later a phone rang. The Japanese fellow lifted his palm to his ear. When he finished he explained, "That was my mobile phone. I have a microc

Bud and Jim are a couple of drinking buddies who work as airplane mechanics in Atlanta, Georgia. One day the airport is fogged-in and they're stuck in the hanger with nothing to do. Bud says, "Man, I wish we had something to drink." Jim says, "Me, too. Y'know, I heard you can drink jet fuel and get a buzz. You wanna try it?" So they pour themselves a couple of glasses of high octane hooch and get completely smashed. The next morning Bud wakes up and is surpri

Hey, I mentioned this problem when WB4 was first released with no joy. So, here goes again. The "Advanced Options" applet in Display Properties > Appearance doesn't work in WB 4.0, you can make the changes to fonts (style and bold, etc.), but when applied the settings don't hold. This applet works just fine in WB3.5. Is there a work-around or a registry tweak available or in the works? The font scaling by % just doesn't cut it. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize

I sure hope a future fix will re-activate the Advanced Features applet. I've done clean WB4 installs and have tried all the sequencing you have mentioned and still no joy. I'm going to keep the WB4 license but will continue using WB3.5 until they get it fixed.

With WB 3.5 and earlier you could make specific adjustments to a given skin with the "Advanced Features" window off the Appearance tab. For example make fonts bold, change a specific color if the skins default color didn't show on a specific app.,etc. Well, the Advanced Features applet doesn't seem to work in WB4, unless I have a corrupt install or something. Any thoughts, registry edits, etc? Thanks in advance. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smile
